This restaurant is amazing. I must say it is the best soul food restaurant I’ve ever had. If you’re craving home cooked food come here. Everything was delicious. The collard greens and Lima beans definitely stuck out as amazing because how many places have you actually been to that make perfectly seasoned southern vegetables in the city. Everything was delicious we ordered fried chicken Mac and yams also fried catfish collard greens and Lima beans. I felt like I was in my mother’s kitchen.

We ubered here because we thought it was a sit down restaurant. instead we got the best shrimp and grits in the city and banana pudding with fresh bananas. come here. eat it. someone needs to kiss the chef on the forehead.

First time trying Grabdma’s Kutchen. I had the smothered Turkey wings, sweet potatoes, collard greens and Mac and cheese. Every bite was delicious, abd I was full and satisfied just halfway thru. Great Soul Food, and the serviceman was friendly and good to talk to?

With all do respect as a former pescatarian, I purchased some mac&cheese and from this establishment ,and it was disgusting. There is no way in hell a place called "Grandma's kitchen " with nasty mac. That food was cooked with pure hate. Chick fi la,kfc,walmart mac is way better than this please don't waste your time or money on this foolishness!

This is a great restaurant to get awesome good food from.The owner is from the same neighborhood her restaurant is in and this gives the community a sense of pride to see our neighbor, friend and now a business woman serving us with fantastic soul food.Go there and you will be amazed the food is that good.05/21/24I have been getting a lot of complaints about the service and the food there now, I was emailed with at least 61 people saying negative things about Grandma's Kitchen and it was truly hard for me to be seeing pictures of the food that people had order and it wasn't up to the standard and quality that I had written about when they 1st open!Well from what I saw and read from other people complaints I am truly torn about writing anymore reviews about them because I can't lie about something that the public will know is a lie!I was emailed about the delivery service and how the delivery guy is late and how the food be cold, not the right order or order's and that the food be burned and no taste and not worth the price.I was also emailed about the person/persons answering the phone are truly rude and just completely out of line on the phone when you call about a incorrect or incomplete order?I was also emailed about a cleaning man dumping this restaurant garbage into other residents trash in the community and areas, now if this is true that's not right at all and is truly illegal!!?I am hopping that all these things I was emailed about isn't true but if they are I will truly be shocked!!
