We have been getting smoothies from this place for years. I was sad to see that prices went up dramatically. We were paying $11 for our smoothies and now one is $12 and the other is $14. We will have to find a new place :(. Highly recommend doing a happy hour discount to increase traffic and revenue. A lot of people work from home or hit the gym and it would allow the patrons that used to pay less, to fathom returning.

Grass Roots wins best plant based vibes in Brooklyn! Their entire menu is on point, serves to almost any dietary need (speaking from experience), and their fresh juices are superb. I come here every morning and I’m greeted by the amazing staff, who actually keep up with my life events (which is like literally more than my boyfriend is even doing…?!) and they actually know how to make good coffee which is a RARETY for juice/food cafes in the city. They use Cafe Grumpy beans and stay open until 8pm, where as most Cafe Grumpy locations only stay open until 7 at latest, and Cafe Grumpy’s menu doesn’t slap, but their coffee is sick, which is why you should come to Grass Roots! The atmosphere serves as a real life version of when Pearl was in charge of the Krusty Krab while also featuring the best curation of organic shelf stable foods, supplements, organic beauty products, and indie artist designed stationery and home decor. If you go to Wholefoods for the wholebody aisles and have to accept that their food and the customer experience is not serving, than Grass Roots is your answer.This review is two years in the making, I’m finally getting out of my gatekeeper era. Brooklyn you will not be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Multiple green juice options with no apple. Options to make your own juice and smoothies. Vegan bakery menu is always stacked.

This is my spot! I have been meaning to write a review forever. Everything is always fresh, portions are good, and they've got a great variety. I have tried pretty much everything in there and there hasn't been anything that I didn't like (or love). Their baked goods are ridiculous and delicious. The peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies are my faves.Service is always friendly and they know how to treat their regulars as well as new customers. The mgr. Esther is the bessssst and she has a great crew.Small biz, local spots are few & far between and I'm glad Grass Roots is still a neighborhood staple and quality/service has stayed consistent.Vegetarian options: Also plenty of vegan options!

Also just discovered they serve Cafe Grumpy coffee so now it’s my go to coffee spot! Their adjacent gift shop is also really nice and I enjoy browsing their selection of novelty items and skincare. Terrible service. My very first time calling resulted in me being hung up on. I called back immediately assuming it was a bad connection only to be greeted by a person yelling at me and asking me “are you a human?” I was insulted and accused of making a prank call. I was planning on ordering $80+ worth of food in an Uber Eats cart that was already full and ready to go. I simply called to inquire about one of the items in my cart. Given the hostility I will not be ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunate and disappointing. Be warned!

I love this place so much! It’s the best quality juice and blends around. You can taste everything the juice lists in the ingredients which is important to me. This place has helped me not get sick while everyone else around me are getting colds! Highly recommend grassroots and their shopping section always has new and cute items to browse while you wait!

I have never fasted before but I did it recently using the clean cleanse package and it went really well. The juices kept me feeling great. I tried one day first and felt so good that I cleared my schedule and did a 3 day the following week. I can honestly see doing it once a month, it gave me so much energy and clarity and was a great reset on my sugar love. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here weekly from day one! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Not only does it feel like home and the staff are pure gems, but I have celiac disease and they are so careful to not glutenize me! The juice is amazing, the food is on point, the snacks ?If you’re looking for something and they don’t carry it they can get it! This has happened twice in my decade of living this neighborhood place! Will always go here, you’re crazy if you don’t support this local female owned spot!!! 5 stars all day, everyday!!!
