Food was decent mediocre at best , place was totally empty.I was there to celebrate my 29th wedding anniversary. I was told the place was busy & had great ambiance,it was dead as a doornail. My distinct displeasure with the place is in no way shape or form was there any info or signage to that they don't specifically take creditcards with jet blue on them, I went to pay the bill & was told this explicitly. luckily I did have other means to pay the bill which was over $400.00 what if I didn't ? Due to my Anniversary, I did not want to cause a scene , needless to say, I will not be returning. I will hope no one bothers with this establishment & there prejudice to an airline could have caused me a situation & also they should proof read there menu, with the assistance thru yelp, google & spellcheck they can't spell?, and there is no explanation to what a Chicken lollipop is or what is cramberry ???

the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service was excellent. My server was very attentive with refills and the mango juice was AMAZING. plantains were very sweet, crispy & the pernil was very well seasoned, the BEST I've had in New York. I found them on Google and the reviews match the service. thank you again for an amazing meal. Would 100% recommend anyone who enjoys AUTHENTIC Puerto Rican food to come here and try it as well.

I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant.Easter Sunday seemed like perfect day to go with my family.I had the pernil and arroz con gandules. It was salty and heavy handed on garlic on top of pernil. No crunch on the top.Soggy and fatty.Presentation was great but was disappointed. My husband had the fried red snapper that came stuffed with seafood accompanied with coconut rice that was very flavorful and presentation was great. My son had Paella that was also salty and the rice needed a more of a seafood taste There were 4mussels that were empty when opened ??‍♀️.My D-I-L had Mofongo with shrimp and she enjoyed that. She suggested it was safe to get.

The place is really nice , music is great, the food is fine, it's not what I expected on the reviews, just ok. You get water once you're seated, but nothing extra. The meal and drinks are typical prices however they have an extra fee, Besides the 3% they put on for Admin Fees, they also added a seated fee, for 2+ people (there was only 4 of us) they added a $30 fee, not sure if it's more if you have extra people. Then of course the tax , then they want you to add the 20% tip. So you wind up paying an extra $70 to $100 extra depending in how much is the food total. So sorry ? I won't be going back. I work too hard for my money ? .

My 2nd time coming here, but it's been a few years. I was a little disappointed they changed the decor with the coqui and big PR flag, but it's still pretty. Attentive service, large portions and good music. Didn't like that they have a photographer walked around. It isn't a theme park or a touristy spot like Margaritaville.

Our dishes were great. My tostones were nice and crispy how I love them, but the garlic sauce was sooo good. My husband had the park mofongo he said it was great. They also redecorated, looks good.

I love the environment of this spot and the food it's truly great, they have the best preference for Latin food in Brooklyn, the help is astounding, and the server Nora Estrada takes my request and is truly kind, in the event that very much like Latin food this is an ideal spot for you.? ??

Been visiting Guarapo since the opened and food and service has always been great! They just renovated the place and looks amazing. The mojitos there are amazing. Feels nice to have a Latin restaurant in the neighborhood.

Stopped by without a reservation and was able to be seated quickly. Party of 4. The food and drinks were delicious! Definitely Latin fusion - there's Puerto Rican, Colombian, Peruvian food. Appetizers - the croquettas with oxtail, amazing! A highlight. Main- all the dishes were delicious and savory. Good portions. Dessert- the tres leches was disappointing. The cake was grainy I'm not sure why. Despite that everything else was great. Service was attentive and kind.

I was fascinated with the new concept of guarapo latín food, the decoration is beautiful, the food spectacular, and undoubtedly the attention of the staff is excellent, without a doubt I totally recommend this place, they have a unique flavor in their dishes, compared to how it was before The one I found today, Guarapo Latin Food, arrived to steal our palate, its renovation took it to another level, and of course it shows that it has great management.
