As others have said, the new combo with mekelburgs means they share space and even at the coffee shop they have dairy milk as an option (to be more inclusive, they said). The default is NOT dairy milk though, which is good. They also told me they only had cow milk whipped cream and non-vegan marshmallows. Another worked corrected the first guy and said they were actually vegan marshmallows but that was enough to turn me off. The pastries are all vegan still bc they’re made by a vegan baker. The cinnamon roll was SO GOOD. They do sell cows milk by the half gallon in the grocery area too 🤮 Updated from previous review on 2025-03-27
Pastries and prepared food are delicious. Now that the original standalone Guevara’s is closed, I wanted to check out the Domino Park location again since it seemed like their food menu here expanded. When I arrived I was confused by the changes! The corner nook that was previously Guevara’s branded is still there and you can order to-go cafe drinks, packaged snacks, and pastries. To order the full prepared food menu, though, you head to the full Mekelburg’s diner in the back and order from the centralized menu that now combines all Guevara’s items with the regular omni-serving menu. Vegan Guevara’s items are highlighted with a pink box, but there are also additional vegan items on the menu indicated with a leaf icon. So, no more all-vegan menu! The staff at Mekelburg’s is friendly and informed about the vegan selections, and a bonus is that there’s ample seating. It also makes it a good option for dining with non vegans, especially if you’re looking for brunch or breakfast.
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. The vegan cookie I had was ok. Unfortunately the coffee was undrinkable
The torta milanese eggplant was delicious and very filling. I also enjoyed the yuca fries. I would definitely come back to try a few other vegan options.

Has some nice looking vegan baked goods. I tried a cookie and an ube doughnut. Both tasty but a bit dry. I'd like to get some of their babka next time. They're located inside a market/restaurant space which also sells non-vegan foods..
A cute little shop, we only got some pastries to take-away, the (chocolate) croissants were sooo good. Also got a churro waffle, which was nice but definitely not worth the $9 I payed, so deducted 1 star for the expensive prices.
Abigail and Rebecca were really cool and this place is cool

The first time I went to this place, they tried to sell me a frozen bacon egg and cheese for $10. When I asked for my money back they gave me it in coins. The second time I came in, I ordered a latte and it ended up up being $8. It took a long time for the barista to make it and was overly sweet. This place has awful quality and is overpriced.
Super fun pink vibes at this grab n go location! There is seating but it mostly a spot for takeout coffee and vegan treats! Staff are very kind and friendly too. Most pastries are sweet but they have a bacon egg and cheese croissant for $9. It’s a great café to grab a quick coffee and snack and then head to Domino Park to enjoy it. Staff are always very kind and friendly too.
Vegetarian options: All pastries and cookies here are vegan, and therefore vegetarian.

Small spot for vegan pastries and drinks! Limited space but you can sit at the bar that is connected with. Slightly pricy in general.
Im not vegan but their pastries were good surprisingly. Coffee menu was outstanding and creative as well.
🧁✨Gingerbread coffee muffin was delicious than my expectations! It was moist in the middle and crunchy on the top. The flavor was good and no oily smell.
Croffle was a little bit oily for me, but the texture was good.
Drinks were good as well, coffee from Oslo with their special flavors. A little bit pricy tho.

There’s multiple businesses together here. There’s a market, and then right at the entrance is Guevera’s where you can buy pastries and drinks. It’s all vegan and the selection is amazing. I got the breakfast bomba, the churro pop tart and the scallion pancake danish.
The breakfast bomba was basically a whole meal, it’s a bun filled with like a breakfast scramble. The pop tart was so delicious and the texture was just the right amount of crisp without being dry. I want to try more pop tart flavors from them in the future! I loved the croissant pastry for the scallion pancake danish, and I thought the flavor was unique. There was like a savory vegan cream cheese filling.
For sandwiches and other entrees, you walk to the back and there’s a bar/diner called Mekelburgs. They have vegan items from Guevera’s and also their own menu options that aren’t all vegan. I was told I could order pastries from this diner too if I just wanted to make a single transaction.
I got the breakfast torta, which was hefty and delicious.
All the staff was also friendly and helpful!
