We came here because it was close by to our Airbnb while visiting NYC. As soon as we sat down in the booth, I realized this nondescript little diner was a gem. Our service was fantastic. My son asked for sweet tea (and the menu only says unsweetened). Well, the guy said to us, “I just made a fresh batch so I’ll add some sugar to it.” He made it special just for us, rather than giving us the plain tea and showing us the sugar on the table (which we easily could have and would have done). The pancakes were fluffy and my kids really enjoyed them. The French toast was large and tasty according to my son. I had the tomato and feta omelette with some home fries. They were perfect. I added in some onion and it was so delicious. Everything about this place was exactly what you want from a little locally owned restaurant. If I lived here, this would be a regular spot for a good hearty breakfast. Definitely recommend

Typical diner. The name of a restaurant like this is speed and variety. I had a decent pastrami and swiss. My kids had medallion pancakes. Seemed like we waited like 8 minutes after ordering.
Food was fine and the owner seemed to really take care of people and the shop.

cool old school place. on utrecht av. i stopped in for a quick lunch this place reminded me of the times 20 years ago when the world was different, too bad i was alone. the owner is very nice and helpful. i didn't wait long for my order. i took lentil soup - very tasty, i recommend it. and a vegetable omelette with home friese. they have good coffee! i think it's a good place to grab a bite to eat with friends and turn off the phone. i recommend it and bon appetit!

Very unhygienic and disrespectful staff. Guy got very upset after I told him to put on gloves after touching cash.

I just recently moved to the area and was craving French toast. Found this gem and thought to try it out. Impeccable service. And the food satisfied my craving.

Place is a joke. First of all they’re way over priced. They charge 5 dollars for a 20 ounce bottle of coke. I made an order online and paid 16.25 for a burger and onion rings. And 14.95 for a gyro platter, which already is ridiculous pricing. Then they call me and say Grubhub is wrong the items cost even more than that and I needed to pay more. Place is ridiculous. No one order from there and no one go there. They got some balls. Hope they go out of business. Bunch of crooks
