We love this neighborhood spot. Comfortable, cozy and a great bar to dine at as well. Unfussy, super well executed plates.

Great happy hour deals and super friendly staff. The ambiance was great (nice candle lighting and art). Apparently they do fried chicken meals on Thursdays which sounds cool. We tried the pasta special and the house burger and fries and everything was great and reasonably priced.

We love Popina so we had to try Gus’s. Been wanting to go since they opened up and damn they did not disappoint. The whole family loved every bite of food. We got a bunch of appetizers. We would have been satisfied just eating them. Sooo good. For entrees, the pork porterhouse had so much flavor and was perfectly cooked. Delicious. The burger was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Also, do not skip out on the desserts.

As always, this restaurant group always has great wines. The wine we ordered really put this meal over the top. A dining experience we will never forget.

5 stars for value. 5 stars for service 5 stars for food.

We were seated right away in the back of the restaurant where it was mostly empty, and it seemed like there was a party happening at the front of the room. We ordered after about 20 minutes of waiting. Another party with an infant came in after us and was sat next to us. They order almost identical food as we did, and they were served first even though we ordered a bit before them. Our food came out about 15 after, and the party with the baby was almost done eating by the time we were given our food, despite being there first.

Our server encouraged us to get the meal deal which included one desert for the table and supposedly we would save some $.
We were left alone for 30 mins at a time and spent around 2 hrs at a restaurant waiting and bored. When we got the bill we calculated and noticed that the meal deal in fact did not save us money, in fact, we were spending more than the items combined (and we did not plan to get dessert there anyway so that tacked on another $14) it took them 15 mins for someone to walk past us to flag down and another 20 just for them to see if we were lying about the check. Once they verified the costs they apologized and gave us a check with another mistake so more time wasted. We eventually were able to get out but with the cost and the fact that everything is a la carte, you’re paying for a vibe and this vibe was not it. I never review places but we were there for our anniversary dinner and to say it was a disappointing dinner is an understatement. We left tired and annoyed for a day that was meant to be romantic and fun. Unfortunately this restaurant seems to value familiar faces and large parties being it looked to be that everyone else was treated more friendly than we were. Feeling like a second thought is really upsetting and hopefully they see this review and make some changes.

Easily the best steak I’ve had. They had a seasonal menu on with Brussel sprout sides and hashbrowns. All of it was perfectly put together and well thought out. Service was exceptional and the vibe was friendly. The waiter we had really went above and beyond and it made it a great experience.

The steak was the star of the show and I can’t recommend it enough.

Food was ok. The burger was more life meatloaf, chicken was alright but over seasoned. All in all it was a good experience but was way over priced for how we thought the food tasted.

I rated a lot when I was there with friends. The hash brown and lasagna are cooked so well and flavorful. I’ve been waiting for a burger at a restaurant for a while to impress me and I finally found it here. They put pork fat in it or something? I frickin love it… and they have the best pork chop I have ever had. Super juicy. The food is legit.

The place has an upscale casual feel. The service is excellent, fast and attentive. The dishes are creative and delicious. The hash browns were perfectly cooked and the topping is outstanding. The croquettes didn't have a lot of fish taste, the tomato sauce was great. The burger was outstanding, juicy, cheesy, the crust was a bit salty. The cheesecake was fluffy, creamy. Would definitely recommend!
