Excellent food! The cocktail I had was also great, a mix of elderflower liquor, sesame oil and egg white. Very fresh and original. The waiter we had was amazing, so was the rest of the staff! Would definitely reccomend!
This is definitely not average Korean restaurant, it is so contemporary that you get hint of it's Korean heritage only by reading menu (for better or worse). The place, if I am not mistaken it is mentioned in Michelin Guide, but in my opinion worth a star. The food was delicious and although by the end I was so full I couldn't stop eating until the plate was clean. Kalbi jjim which is short ribs and Bulgogi were out of this world! Again I have failed to try their dessert,...
My husband and I have been to Haenyeo approximately 3-4 times at least. We have tried different items on the menu. I especially like the Dukboki Fundido, Suun Dubu, Ojingo Bibimbop and the Bulgogi. It saddens me that they no longer serve the seafood bouillabaise because it’s one of my favorites. From the dessert menu, we had the beignets and the warm chocolate cake — both equally good. We’re not big on alcohol so we haven’t tried any of their cocktails.
