This is one of the best carts in the city. The food is delicious, the price is very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

THIS. IS. MY. NEW. HALAL. GUY. Oh man, this food is SO GOOD. Fresher than fresh. This guy is super nice too. He is committed to making fresh falafel, so he told me 15 mins. I said no problem and went to check out the library. Came back, and asked for a chicken and rice plate as well for my bestie. Had him cut up a pita and put that on top. White sauce with a little red. I chatted with the guy (I have to get his name next time! Seriously, we should all make an effort to learn the names of our community locals—it makes a difference!) and he told me he’s been running that halal cart since he was 18, and started back in 2009! He’s been there for 15 years. We love to support hardworking, local vendors and shops. He was super nice, accommodating, and that food was A++++ I can’t wait to go back.

One of the best halal cart experiences I’ve had in NYC, was not expecting it at this corner spot in Brooklyn. I’m from CA and was looking for my halal kick before I left and am so glad I found this spot. The food was super fresh and delicious. I have celiac and most (no bread or fish) was gluten free. I usually hate lamb (too gamey) and he let me try it and it was delicious here! They also make their falafel fresh from raw in the fryer on the spot, it is not premade. The best most crispy on the outside and soft on the inside falafel I’ve ever had. And to top it all off, the guy running the cart and owner was such a friendly guy, was very flexible, happy to let me sample and was just so friendly - worth stopping by and saying hi. I will be back on my next visit! (I wish I took a pic of the food, the pics on here don’t represent at all)

Rotten smelling food. Dirty unsanitary conditions. Sweaty person serving it and it dripping into the food. I mean, why do people even go to these places. They can't use the bathroom and can't wash their

I have been a loyal customer for many years but will not order from the place anymore. I ordered a pick up and babaganush was one of the items. They forgot to add it which is ok. However money was never refunded even though that what was promised. When I called to order next time and mentioned about the missed order, the person who answered the phone said that she has nothing in the system. I explained the person on the phone that I would not go into trouble for $8 and just not order from the restaurant anymore. Customer service is something to work on especially in this competitive market.
