Favorite coffee shop in NYC - it would be so nice if they opened a couple more spots around the city
I've been going here at least weekly for over a year now and only had good experiences. I only wish they stopped taking orders over the previous customer's shoulder - ie having to place the order while the person before is finishing payment. I don't mind the extra 10 secs of wait time, and in any case when it's a little busier, placing orders is not really the bottleneck.

Good coffee in a minimalist setting. There were a lot of people working there and I appreciated how quiet it was. There’s also a back yard that’s open to customers.

Definitely a great place to come in and get work done, study, catch up with a friend… very bright, welcoming and my latte was delicious! I only drink almond milk and since they didn’t have that, I tried their alternative which was macadamia milk, and surprisingly I really like it. Noise level of conversations were not a bother, and another thing I appreciate is that my clothes and hair didn’t have that “café / coffee” scent lingering (yes I know it’s expected at a coffee shop but sometimes it’s a bit tooo much). Very airy and overall great experience!

I went here because I heard the coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere of the cafe was great! Well, please be kind. The best! The coffee is delicious, and since I lived in the US, I wanted to eat at a cafe whether I was working or working. It was busy so I had to take out... haha You said that latte and cappuccino are popular, and they are delicious! ㅁㅣI don't know if it's a characteristic of the soup, but the latte is light, so if you like it strong, it would be better to add a shot. The living room is also in the B part, and it’s clean and nice!

I love Hamlet, the coffee is always great, pastries are delicious, staff is always welcoming and the. vibe is great. The little backyard is such a treasure. So grateful for finding it in my neighborhood.

This place is NOT welcome to dogs. I’m not trying to put this place on blast for that, I just wish I had some indication of that before I walked over here, so I am providing that indication. For anyone who tries to grab a cup of coffee while you’re walking your dog, this place won’t even let you hold your small hypoallergenic dog in your arms as you order a coffee to go. And there’s no indication on the door that this is the case. I’m sure their coffee is fine, just don’t come when you have a dog.

I decided to walk to this little coffee shop. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The coffee shop is really cute, quiet and I felt like this would be a retreat for folks wanting to get away and have a quiet place to go along with great tasting, smooth lattes. I had the chocolate croissant and it was quite tasty. I had the Pumpkin Spice Latte which was also very good. I will go again when I come back to Brooklyn, NY.
