Ordered 2 soups, they came fully leaked out into the plastic bag, no thought went into how they were packaged. Terrible service, horrible delivery, and no way to even contact the restaurant to tell them or ask for a refund. DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT FROM HERE.
You can just order from the regular Chinese food take out for much less nothing different and the drinks are so watered down

Han Dynasty was a great quality start to my winter visit in NYC!
The space was intimate, comfortable, and spacious - even with it being located within a food hall!
Service here was similarly excellent in terms of being very prompt, efficient, and friendly!
Having traveled across the country for most of the day, both of us ordered (probably) more than was necessary - nevertheless, everything was absolutely EXCELLENT!
My feelings on every food dish:
Wonton in Chicken Broth - perfect heat and delicious texture/flavor
Hot Sauce Style Entree - just the right amount of heat, flavor, and absolutely delicious
Scallion Pancake - arguably the most disappointing plate of the evening..but still very solid quality. Just a little dry.
If I'm being honest, I am not fully sure of everything we ordered (it was a lot, we were hungry!!), but I DO KNOW that we loved everything we had while patrons of this establishment!
Oh yeah - AND they give you a complimentary pot of tea for the table, which I found to be a lovely touch!
Unsurprisingly, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Solid Chinese food for a fair price and in a cozy spot beneath the mall. Came here on a busy Friday evening and was able to get a table right away. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. If you’re looking for no frills and good food, this is your spot! Would definitely come back to try out other options in the future.

I’m a regular customer and usually have great experiences here, which is why I wanted to share this as constructive feedback.
On my recent visit, I decided to try the dry pepper scallops instead of my usual dry pepper fish. After taking a few small bites, I realized I didn’t enjoy the texture or how the scallops were cooked, so I asked to switch dishes. I wasn’t saying I don’t like seafood — I regularly order and enjoy the dry pepper fish — this particular dish just wasn’t for me.
Unfortunately, the bartender became confrontational and told me that I “wasted a $30 meal” and said that I do this “all the time,” which isn’t accurate (this has only happened twice over several months). The extra commentary made me uncomfortable, especially as a returning customer.
I completely understand that food costs matter, but I feel this situation could have been handled more professionally and without placing guilt on the guest. I did share my experience with the manager.
I’m posting this because I genuinely enjoy coming here and hope future situations like this are handled with more care and understanding.
Went for a quick solo dinner and order the General Hans chicken, good service, great vibes, and most importantly the food was great.

Han Dynasty is a great spot if you enjoy bold, authentic Sichuan food with serious flavor. The dishes are packed with spice, heat, and that signature numbing sensation that makes Sichuan cuisine stand out, especially favorites like the dan dan noodles and dry pepper chicken. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the menu lets you choose your spice level, which is perfect whether you’re easing into heat or going all in. The service is very attentive, with staff frequently checking in and making sure everything is exactly how you want it. The atmosphere is casual and lively, making it a solid choice for both group dinners and casual nights out.
