BANH MI, PHO, BUBBLE TEA? Good fix in the neighborhood for these things. The pho is decent and honestly a little hit or miss depending on the time of day and season of the year you get it. At best it’s ok and at worst it’s not worth getting but on this particular day they gave a good amount of meat so that was good. The banh mi is good and I do like the ground meat in the classic style even though that’s not really authentic but it’s a nice twist. The bubble tea is actually the best thing here. What Hancos does well is that it has the variety of all of those things plus also Summer Rolls. Expect the expensive Park Slope price. Highly Recommended for that fix ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terrible service. Went to the store after I got a text saying my takeout is ready, but the woman behind the register told me it’s not. I waited for fifteen minutes and asked again, and it turns out the food had been sitting on a counter since I got there. The waitress didn’t even listen to me saying my order number, and she had the audacity to ask me “it was ready, why did you wait”

Food was ok. The worker was nice. They give you a big bowl of vermicelli with a good amount of veggies but only half a container of sauce so it was bland. I don’t expect extra sauce to be free these days, but it’s ridiculous they charge $2.50 for half container of sauce. The bowl of vermicelli is $18. Make it make sense. I don’t recommend this place and wouldn’t come back.

Bahn mi was tasty but rolls left much to be desired. Got the chicken role - supposed to be basically spring role with chicken instead of shrimp. There was one piece of lettuce, almost no cucumber or mint basically just boiled chicken and vermicelli noodles

I wanted to stop by a Vietnamese Restaurant in the area for some high quality Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I found Hanco's in Park Slope. I got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee which was $6.26. It took a long time to make (around 5 minutes). Ultimately, it was pretty good. It definitely helped me get my coffee fix in, however, it is also definitely not the strongest Viet Iced Coffee I've had. I would suggest going to a more authentic Viet restaurant for their iced coffee for next time. But still solid for what I got, although a bit expensive.

“This is the best bahn mi I’ve ever had” said my picky wife. She had the grilled chicken bahn mi & I had the tofu! The tofu isn’t fried or seared like most places but it’s still
delicious.

Had a delicious quick meal here! I got the tofu bahn mi, which was excellent. Classic and simple. My wife got the chicken pho, which was perfect, since she doesn’t eat beef and we don’t often see a chicken option for pho. Overall a great meal and we’ll be back!

Heard this was a good spot for a good ol’ bahn mi. I’m not Viet, so no pitchforks please - but I’ve had my fair share of bm’s.
I ordered the classic bahn mi - spicy.
Fast service - maybe 5 min or less. The place was packed and busy.
Pricing? Feels a bit of a reach - considering size and filling amount, but i understand the area. Whatever.
I’m not really a fan of the use of ground meat vs (what i’m used to) solid slices parsed throughout. While I think it allows for a more even distribution of meat per bite, i feel like it lacked some flavor and the sauce had to do a lot of carrying on that end. Also, “spicy” is a generous classification - it’s very mild at best.
Overall - food was still filling, I’m not sure - i’d be willing to cough up another $12.50 for this quality sandwich. Will be looking elsewhere for my bahn mi needs!

If you dare to visit Hanco, be sure to triple-check your order because they're well-known for mixing them up. You'll also get the privilege of overpaying for subpar food. The portions are laughably small, and the flavors are bland and uninspired. The ingredients don't seem fresh, and the presentation is as sloppy as the service. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired—dingy and uncomfortable. With so many Vietnamese spots in Brooklyn, why settle for overpriced mediocrity? Sure, the sandwiches can be decent—if you're lucky. Otherwise, prepare yourself for bread that's either rock-hard or just passable. NEVER AGAIN
