Truly had the best time celebrating a recent birthday at Hart Bar. I had a largeish group so I made a reservation ahead of time and was so impressed with the staff as I planned my lil party. Huge shout out to Samer and Mazen of Hart Kitchen who were fantastic to work with and whose food is truly truly outstanding and delicious. We devoured it all. And the rest of the staff were also lovely and made awesome cocktails. Great atmosphere overall and perfect for groups both large and small.

Hart Bar is one of those cozy neighborhood spots that feels hidden yet inviting. I visited five days ago in the early evening and the vibe was just right—chill music, warm lights, and a relaxed crowd. The indoor setup is charming, with wooden walls and lots of plants that give the place a natural, earthy feel.
I ordered a whiskey sour and it was well balanced—smooth, not too sour, and perfectly cold. The bartender was professional and easy to talk to, which added to the atmosphere. It’s definitely the kind of place where you can come alone or with friends and still enjoy yourself.
What I liked most was the seating area by the large windows—it lets in a lot of light and makes the space feel bigger than it is. There’s also a patio section which I plan to try on my next visit. Prices are reasonable for Brooklyn, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a calm spot to unwind in the city, this is a great choice.

I've never felt so judged. I came in to meet a colleague. We work at a school. I arrived first and asked to use the bathroom as my hands felt dirty from smoking. I was told I have to a customer to use the bathroom. I explained I was meeting my colleague and the other bartender allowed me to use the restroom. Fast fwd, the bartender kept looking at me strangly after my colleague arrived. After one beer I was told I could not have another beer. Never again.

I came by with a friend and was holding a can of water while they were ordering a drink. We were about to sit outside when the bartender very aggressively asked me to leave because of the drink I was holding. I completely understand that outside beverages aren’t allowed, but I wish the approach had been more respectful. I even mentioned I was about to finish it, but the tone still felt unnecessarily harsh. A little kindness goes a long way

If you pay $14 for a margerita, the bartender should put salt or tajin on the rim, and not act like it’s a huge imposition when she’s asked to put it. The drink should cost $6 given the quality and service

Incredible bar, fantastic outdoor seating on the curbside but also a very odd addition they built out onto the sidewalk that essentially extends the ground floor of the building out significantly. It must be seen to be believed. They always have great DJs and oftentimes some great entertainment down in the basement. Naragansett tall boys are always cold and great for me to have outside on the curbside seating. My friends and I are always meeting up to have an incredible time at the Hart Bar.
cute blonde bartender (sienna?) is the best in the bizz. amazing service, friendly convo, and drinks are amazing. made the whole experience the best. the other bartenders are super friendly and cool as well. awesome food. 10/10!
First time coming here visiting out of town. The bartender Sienna was so amazing I am recommending this bar to all my friends that visit out of town! Made it so welcoming as a queer woman definitely different from my small town in Texas. I can’t wait to come back and visit definitely a cool laid back spot to bring friends or just chill at.
