Reserved the Wine Cellar for my birthday in December. Food, wine, atmosphere, and staff were fantastic. Can’t recommend enough!

I will start by saying check your credit card statement after you go here!!!!!!! I clearly wrote a specific tip amount, and only after checking my credit card statement did I see the restaurant charged me higher.

My friend and I went there Saturday night. We were so excited to go there and the ambiance was beautiful. Things were off to a great start. Then the pasta took an extremely long time to come. Not really sure what was going on, but it was exceptionally long. No apologies or anything offered in compensation (we would’ve appreciated something). Anyways, the food came eventually and we were on our way.

My friend and I had been out earlier in the day so to balance things out with our finances, we were going to split the bill and then she pay the entire tip (~20%; I believe it was around $30). I wrote “0$ tip - my friend will pay the tip). And they STILL charged me a tip (18%)!!!!! You have to write it on paper so I would’ve never noticed if I hadn’t of been coincidentally checking my statement afterwards! Very sketchy, I didn’t love it. I probably wouldn’t have written this review if things had gone differently at the restaurant.

I also had to follow up with them several times - they were not responsive.

The atmosphere and food were both great. The vibe was perfect for a Saturday night dinner. A couple gripes...
There was an automatic 22% but the service was worthy of 12%. If the tip is automatically over 20%, we shouldn’t have to constantly ask for more water and more napkins (they have single use paper napkins). They had no problem opening another $95 bottle of wine as soon as we finished one.

Second gripe was that the ‘wine list’ is a spinning wheel that they try to pair your taste to a certain bottle. I don’t mind paying for a good bottle of wine but I at least want to have the option to choose, instead of feeling like you’re forced into a $90+ bottles of wine.

Now the food was very good. The prosciutto and cappo are delicious. The cheeses were also tasty, except I wish they had more options beyond a bleu, brie, and pecorino. The stracciatella and burrata starters were great. The steak was the star of the show, which surprised us. Octopus was chewy, but that tends to happen when ordering octopus. The meat based pastas were good and I would skip the gnocci. Lastly, all 3 tiramisu’s were great but I feel like $22 each was a bit overpriced.

All in all, it’s a solid place. A large group can be hard so I’m not super annoyed there. If the atmosphere wasn’t top notch, it would be 3 stars.

My friend and I hosted our birthday dinner party here and it was such a dream! This restaurant is beautifully decorated, has very kind and attentive service, and the food was immaculate. You can tell that they are very meticulous with every detail when it comes down to the food and wine! I had great communication with the event coordinator Ari, and Wendi made sure our table was decorated exactly as we wanted. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to host a beautiful and perfect dinner, we got so many compliments from our friends!

I hosted my birthday dinner with 20 people in the private dining room and my experience was incredible. Wendy the decorator is phenomenal at what she does, I couldn’t stop raving about the decor all night and neither could my guests. The food and drinks were also so delicious. I will definitely be back again.

I genuinely tried to give this place a fair chance, but after hosting my birthday dinner here—and dealing with ongoing communication issues with their reservation team—I’m left extremely disappointed.

I planned a dinner for 12 and was told the private spaces were unavailable for my date and time. The restaurant suggested seating us in the main dining room, which I agreed to only after asking for a photo to make sure it could comfortably fit 13 people. The response I got was essentially, “check Google or Instagram.” After days of searching and still not finding a clear picture of the space, I went in hoping they would set it up thoughtfully. I regret that. There was nowhere near enough room for our group. Our table literally blocked the entrance, and my guests had to sit while staff and other patrons squeezed past them. They should have been upfront about that.

Then came the menu confusion. I was originally told there was a $65 per person minimum for a pre-fixe menu in the private space. Fast forward to the week OF my dinner, suddenly that price jumped to $95 per person—despite me trying to book 3–4 weeks ahead. After clarifying that we’d stick to the original $65, they sent me a detailed description of the pre-fixe menu: shared starters, each guest choosing a main from the menu, and dessert platters for the table, with drinks à la carte (see photo attached for reference)
But on the night of the dinner, our waiter told us that the $65 minimum only applied to appetizers. After I showed him the email, they “adjusted” the bill to include appetizers and entrées—but now dessert was suddenly excluded, even though it was clearly listed in what I was promised. It was obvious the staff had not been informed about what the reservations team communicated. To be clear, our waiter was wonderful and the service itself was efficient. The issues were entirely on the events team.

If you’re thinking of booking a large party here, triple-check every single detail. I felt embarrassed and guilty on my own birthday for relaying information to my guests that the restaurant ultimately didn’t honor. The owner told me to follow up with the events team, which I did, but I didn’t get a response until I sent two additional emails over the next week.
In the end, the events team took no responsibility. For transparency, I did ask for some form of reimbursement given the amount of misinformation. Their solution? Offering us free dessert “next time.” After this experience, why would there be a next time?

Had dinner tonight with 3 of my company colleagues and was just overwhelmed by the experience. The atmosphere is incredible with a very homey but elegant feel. We were served by Alassandra which was an amazing experience as he shared his knowledge of Italian wines. We agreed to let him determine our menu family style and it was amazing appetizer all the way to desert and complimentary cordial.

We are planning a return to host a dinner for clients and prospects with wine pairing and tasting. But only if we are assured to have Alassandra as our dinner guide.

Well done Alassandra.
