This is such a beautiful wine bar. The space is cozy and romantic, with shelves lined with wine bottles and soft candlelight — perfect for a date night or a weekend dinner. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday when it's a bit quieter. I came on a Saturday night, and the lines and wait times were pretty hectic. Even though I arrived on time for my reservation, I still waited about 15 minutes just to speak to someone. They seemed short-staffed, and the space is quite small, which made things feel a little cramped. Overall, it's a lovely spot — just plan your visit for a slower night to really enjoy it. Also, this is a very popular spot for birthdays. I noticed that people were celebrating and had 10 to 15 people in their parties.

I came here for my birthday dinner and it was probably the best birthday dinner I've ever had in New York!! The service was incredible, they brought over several wines for us to match specific “feelings”, it was unlike any other experience! And the food was delicious as well. Highly highly recommend this spot for any occasion whether it's a casual dinner or a celebration. Thank you Have & Meyer Team for an unforgettable evening! :)

The food was good. The servers pleasant. The space cramped. But the wine selection was odd and off putting. There's no wine list. You spin the dial on a mood diagram. We chose a red, bold wine.She brought a $100 bottle of Brunello. (For perspective, recently at a different Italian restaurant we had a $120Aglianico. We really like Aglianico, we're not big Brunello fans). So the Brunello was ok. We could have paid for the two glasses of wine she brought and she would have chosen a different mystery wine. I probably spent more time this year visiting vineyards in Italy than our waitress. I want to pick out my own wine.

Prices are outrageous - all pasta dishes were $30+ (and some $40+), burrata $30+ (!!!). Service was slow - two hours for what was a two course meal. We did enjoy the seasonal salad, stracciatella and prosciutto, and pepperdalle with beef ragu. It’s a bit chaotic and overwhelming in terms of people waiting for tables.

Ambience is super romantic Staff is knowledgeable about wine. Right now they’re doing a wheel where you say what your mood is and what type of wine you like (white sparkling etc) then they show you options. I’ve been coming here since 2022 and I will be back again.
Have & Meyer is a charming little wine bar in the heart of Williamsburg! They have live singers and instrumentalists to set the tone for any occasion, especially a romantic evening out. The interior is brilliantly decorated, with wine bottles lining the perimeters of the walls. The warm wooden antiques and the elegant flowers make it feel very European and cozy inside. We ordered two fresh pasta dishes which were perfectly al dente, and had just the right amount of sauce. The octopus was also very good. It was so soft that it somehow melted in your mouth, and it also had a crispy char on the outside. The two texture combos created a perfect dish! I will definitely be back, and hopefully I will run into Stanley Tucci next time, haha.

From start to finish the whole team was so warm, accommodating, and attentive. The food and wine were delicious, and the intimate atmosphere made the night feel extra special. They truly took care of everything and made it such a relaxing yet fun experience.

We love this neighborhood gem. Excellent food, wonderfully curated wines, and a friendly vibe, even when packed on a weekend night. The last time we came on a weekday, there was a nice jazz band on the sidewalk. It's the kind of place you go to and want to come with friends to share the experience. Perfetto!
