I’ve been going to this bagel spot on and off for about a year. The bagels are decent and do the job when we’re craving something nearby, but they’re definitely not the best in Brooklyn. In my opinion, Bagel Delight on Court Street still holds the crown for the best bagels—even if it’s a bit of a trek.
Unfortunately, after today, I don’t think we’ll be coming back. The customer service has always been just okay—not rude, but not welcoming either. And today, we found a piece of hair in my wife’s bagel, which was honestly the final straw. Disappointing experience overall.
The store made my order incorrectly and I discovered this when I got home. I called the store and they said to stop by the next day and get a free sandwich. When I get there the next day the guy refuses to honor that and instead tells me he only messed two things up, implying I shouldn’t get a free sandwich. We argue back and forth only for me to tell him just make the sandwich and don’t charge me for the things he messed up on originally.
He makes the sandwich and proceeds to make it wrong again! Pretty sure it was on purpose cause no one can be that dense. Once finished, he tries to give me the sandwich for free after already arguing with me for 5 min and not wanting to do that originally. I tell him I don’t want his disingenuous appeasement and that I want to pay for my meal minus the things he missed on my original order. He refused to take my money and so I left.
The guy that was manning the register closing on 4/26 has got a serious attitude problem and treats customers without respect. Let alone doesn’t know how to own his mistakes. I’ve been coming to this place for 6 years and honestly it’s just not worth it anymore. The prices are some of the highest I’ve ever seen for breakfast items.
Save your time and money and just order from somewhere else. The employees there are a joke.
The bagels are top notch. Breakfast sandwiches satisfying. A little pricey, but thats pretty typical everywhere lately. Nice staff. I've always had good experiences here. Perfect place to stop in after my night shift at the hospital.
Just paid $4.51 for a bagel with cream cheese. That's highway robbery. Last time I come here.
Ordered bacon egg and cheese and instead they gave me bread with sliced Kraft singles cheese. And the apple juice I ordered from them was expired. Never again; please avoid if you can.
Best bagels in New York!love this place! Highly recommend
My go to bagel spot in midwood. Their bacon egg and cheese is consistently good. And the iced coffee is delish. The staff is super friendly and handles orders very promptly. I
bacon egg n cheese on toasted roll
n med coffee.....$14.95. Lousy neighborhood. Customers swearing on their phones. unfriendly staff. Total rip off. And i did not order turkey. It was a bacon , egg n cheese on a toasted roll.
Bagels are fresh, best in south Brooklyn
I’ve been going to this place for over a decade… best bagel shop in my opinion. Always delicious.

Two Very respectful young men were courteous and engaging and even threw in a free rainbow bagel on top of my bakers dozen… didn’t bat an eye when I asked them to slice them all for me
The store is located in the Homecrest/Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. It has been in business since 1951 and is on Kings Highway near Ocean Avenue. They serve bagels, various sandwiches and salads including egg and tuna. Doughnuts and croissants are also available. Breakfast platters, wraps and paninis provide customers with many options. Drinks include coffee, tea, water, juice and soda. Friendly and helpful staff.
Amazing cream cheese and lox bagel. Big and so fresh, lots of lox and no insane overload of cream cheese that you often get at these places. I advise against the apples and strawberry crumb cake however. Service was good. Prices a little high but I'd say worth it. Atmosphere is comfortable; you can really relax.
Nice place to dine in
