I brought a group of 6 guys here and we enjoyed all the food. This is a lovely place.

More importantly, the people who work here are kind. I tripped down the stairs next door and was bleeding from a deep cut in my hand. Someone who works here - I think he said his name was Ben? - immediately rushed outside, helped me pick up my things, pulled me into the restaurant's washroom, and dressed my wound. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Service was late and there seem not to be enough waiters. We had someone cooking our meat for us that just left and our meat ended up being burnt twice - would have preferred to be explained to do it ourselves. We were then scolded because the meat was overcooked. Bad service overall.

The man who works here (Ben - he might be the owner?) was rude to me & yelled when I asked very calmly and politely about where the rest of meal was….

Mila is very kind though. I understand that they may be busy, but being yelled at by a man while minding my own business (I literally had a book and was not impatient about anything) isn’t a great experience.

A letdown! Was hoping to make this a neighborhood favorite living just down the block.

Fantastic spot for yakiniku! The owner creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere and has an eye for detail—even the wasabi is exceptional. The meat is absolutely delicious. A must-try in the neighborhood!

Me and wife accidentally came across this restaurant on our way home from work. The owner and staff were very friendly! The service was excellent, and the dessert after the meal was also delicious! I think this place deserves a higher rating than just 4.4. Some New Yorkers are too harsh and picky about taste. Some Japanese people are more conservative and don’t accept innovation in Japanese cuisine. Honestly, the original flavors of Japanese food aren’t that great. The owner has boldly experimented and innovated with his culinary skills, and it’s clear that he succeeded! Absolutely fantastic!

I had a fantastic evening of Japanese barbecue here! A5 Wagyu Beef and its exceptional quality are flown to the United States the same day. Texture that melts in your mouth!!! I believe the value and quality of the meats outperform any Japanese-style barbecue restaurant in New York City. Surprisingly, the owner was extremely enthusiastic and friendly, introducing us to each dish, personally mixing my special sake, and even offering us two additional Japanese beef dishes, matcha mille crepe cake, and a fruit plate! How generous the owner is!!! The owner's assistant provided equally professional and excellent services. What a fabulous night!!! The new menu is a great success! Congratulations! This Japanese barbecue restaurant will undoubtedly become a favorite of mine in NYC!

Pretty authentic yakiniku in Williamsburg.
Meat was very good, especially the Japanese cuts.
Excellent service and reasonably priced. We should have tried this place sooner.
Will be back.

It’s times like this that I wish I left more reviews. I’ve lived in Wburg for 8 years and this place has by far made me the most at home. This is the beginning of a rant, so if you don’t wanna read further than the answer is yes: come here before you go out, come late on a Sunday, come if you’re having bad day and wanna consume a bunch of high quality beef. Come for the vibes…OR, get them to cater an event (yes they do that…)

- I first came here for a date a few years ago, and sadly, the date never showed up. The owner was around as he always is and honestly, thank god she didn’t come. I was showered with shots, random meats to try, and amazing banter. Not to say this is the experience you’ll always get, but these are the type of people you’re dealing with - helping you when you’re down.

- The food here is exceptional. I’m not sure if this is how all Japanese steakhouses are but they make the meat for you. Take that as you will. They definelty know more than me and maybe more than you. That’s cool. Kickback. I know the quality is there - I eat a wild amount of steak that I often overpay for. While this place isn’t an overpay, it’s certainly on par with anything you typically spend a lot of money on. It’s value. That seems to be the general vibe here: quality and good company.

- There is like, 1 place in Williamsburg that serves on an open grill and it’s Korean. It’s great but the prices are kinda nuts. While eating high grade meats is never that affordable, this doesn’t break the bank that much.

Maybe I’m biased by the fact that the owner is simply a lovely guy, but I’d be reminded to say that the food is really the highlight here (and the Japanese folk music). Grab a Sapporo. Grab a bottle of sake. Hang out and eat some amazing food. You won’t regret it.
