Overall disappointing. Our radicchio salad was missing the citrus fruit and avocado listed on the menu. Although it did seem liked they used good quality fresh ingredients, the execution just wasn’t there. Sadly, our pizza came out soggy with a burnt crust. The service was all over the place, with runners bringing multiple dishes to our table asking if we had ordered them. It was also extremely hot inside, which now I realize why most people opted to wait for a table outside.

Fantastic spot. We live in a nearby neighborhood and have been many times. Located on a quiet corner near the pier with a lovely sunset view of the statute of liberty, it feels like a peaceful escape from the city.
The food is generally very good. The ricotta beet salad is a must have - so fresh. Our only caveat is that the pizza can be a bit soggy, so we'd suggest foregoing toppings and just getting the plain tomato mozzarella (which is very good).

Good pizza for when you are Red Hook. Even better if you go on July 4th, especially if you are eating on the patio when the fireworks are going on and the fireworks are going over the East River after not being there the year before

I am giving it 4 stars because they don't offer slices. I got a pizza and it was very good. I ordered take out from the counter and they were helpful and informative. Nice atmosphere I think it would be great for dining in. The only issue is you need to buy a whole pie for yourself (if you're alone)
Again the pizza was delicious and I posted a picture of it. If in the area I'd go again but not alone.

Met some cool locals here. Pizza was really good. Ate too much especially since I already ate earlier. They said pizzas were personal but if you don’t exact much you can share a pizza between 2. But I could easily eat 2

I worked a party there last night for a bat mitzvah. The owner was very nice as was the staff who was working for her. They brought out many different kinds of pizza for the party and it was delicious. I had salad which was good as well. I am sure the rest of the food was good but I love pizza so that is all I ate. Would recommend based on not just the pizza but the attitudes of the owner and staff. I live in Long Island but if I was out that way I would go back.

Service for large groups is really bad. I was eating from my partners plate (no plate of my own) for the entirety of the meal, and no one came to check up on our group of 9. When confronted, they were defensive and refused to believe they were wrong. Kept saying they were busy. I'm really frustrated with service. Servers are rude and with no remorse of their lack of interest in service.
All around excellent . Straciatella is a must . We ordered 3 pizzas ( 12 inch) with different topping all were excellent . Only 15 minutes from tribeca .
It's a nice place with excellent service and unbelievably good food

We had our wedding at Hoek and it was the absolute best venue! The space is amazing -- we did ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all in the indoor and outdoor space. The staff are amazing (shout out to Anna, Kenny, Lexi, Carlos, Katya, Olivia and many more) -- they worked with us to make our vision come alive and helped us throw the best party! And the food and drinks are delicious and made for such a fun dinner atmosphere with the family-style meal. Overall, hosting an event here felt like the perfect combination of formal and laid back, all thanks to the Hoek team who take their events very seriously and make you feel so taken care of from start to finish. We cannot say enough good things about Hoek. They went above and beyond, and made our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you, Hoek!!!

Finding this place is like finding a lost Aztec city. Eating here brings a similar pleasure. And I did to that exquisite wood-fired pizza what Cortés did to his discovery, sadly.
