Ordered the spare ribs and beef rib. It was good but the beef rib was a little bit pricy.

Food is overrated, very very very very very very bad service..We ordered a drink while standing in a queue for almost an hour, the guy in charge to bring the drinks completely ignored us for 2 turns I had to remember him that we ordered and already paid for a beer and a frozen margarita... beer and margarita were left it on the counter for more than 20 min ( margarita was threw back in the mixer machine and replace with a shitty watery one). Unbelievable what a guy! I had no words and l keep waiting to see if the experience was getting any better but unfortunately not. I do not recommend this place at all. NY is huge and with better place than this.

The sides are ok but the pastrami bacon and sticky ribs are delicious. The price is steep but worth it for a special occasion.

Oh wow ! If you’re looking for American meet style you should go there ! Food was super good !!! Fatty but amazing !
Only issue is you need to wait and be ready for that because it could be long … But worth it to be honest

Came in workers were chilling and got my sandwich brisket wasn’t even great it was average and over priced for quality and pastrami sandwich was amateur basic you can find in a bodega in east New York for half the price everything way overpriced never will came back to this basic bbq again

After Strong Rope Brewery, everyone walks a few minutes to Hometown Bar-B-Que, and it’s so worth it. Portions are huge, the brisket is amazing, but the real standout was the cow ribs. The line can be long, but the waiters do a great job bringing drinks and keeping the vibe fun while you wait.

I love the sides here, the wait is sometimes long, but other than that it’s the best!!!

Great food but man is it pricy - I feel like Hometown almost innovated insanely expensive BBQ. Also the fact that they have only one guy taking orders feels like a psychological trick: You end up waiting online forever, so by the time you get your food you can't but be satisfied because you're so damn hungry. They could do better IMO

Pretty legit BBQ, comparable to some places in Texas, the corn bread is good but the other side are only ok.

Pretty good BBQ place for a NY Joint. Saw this place advertised on Man, Fire, Food on TV. Hard to find a Beef Rib in the area and Texas Red Chili all in one Place. Overall the BBQ was spot on. Everything a BBQ place should be. Smaller place than I expected size wise and got that country look to it. Felt that the Korean Sticky ribs although tasted good was a bit over cooked and tough to eat. The best was that Beef Rib, Brisket and The Chili. Definitely worth the trip and place to check out.

Was so hyped for this place, and while it was good, it wasn't anything out of this world. The beef rib was huge and delicious but the sadly brisket was pretty tough/ dry. The Pork ribs were really good too. The price was crazy high. I know it's NYC, but these prices are higher than famous bbq places down south. For a guide 1/2 lb pork ribs equalled to just 2 ribs. Service was few words and placing meat on the tray, but can't deny how hard these guys work to smoke the meat for hours.

The hunny and I came here for dinner. They had a live band playing. We went in ordered our food at the counter. The person taking our order was very nice. We got the Beef Ribs (yummy🤤), Brisket(yummy🤤), Pork Ribs(the Hunny Loved🤤), Collards(yummy🤤), Mac&Cheese(ok🙄), Queso (🤤🤤) and Wings(the hunny did not like at all😞). I would definitely return and recommend this place.
