This place is CLOSED DOWN. Do not go here
I did not eat in the restaurant. I had the food delivered. The Egusi was delicious with the right amount of spice. The meat pie was pretty good too.

The food is nice and very delicious. Everytime i come anywhere in New York, i never miss my own people people's Africa food, and order as much as i can. Because when am on the road, i gotta warm up the food and eat. Ladies and gentlemen, y'all need to pay a visit to my mom's restaurant and get you some food. Whether it's rice, ewu, Amala, ogbono, ewedu, suya or anything. She will serve you your delicacy. God bless you mommy.

Don't know if the food is good but the service is so slooooooow and the people that work here are rude, disorganized and did I say slow. Waited over 15 mins for an order that I was 1st told was picked up by someone else, then said that it wasn't even made and then was told that it just needed to be packed up. Beyond ridiculous. If you're ok with all the above then you'd probably love the place. If I could give negative stars I would

The very small portioned food was very good. Atmosphere is nothing to mention. The server was very polite.

Ordered jollof and pepper soup. The soup tasted like straight meat broth with bones and cartilage as goat meat. The jollof rice with goat meat was flavorless. I thought hard about writing this. I have never written a review. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
Worst Nigerian restaurant you could find in New York, the customer service is very poor, she talks to customers however she please, messed up my order with zero apologies…and she has the nerve to hang up on me. I repeat NEVER order from this place, there’re so many better places you can order from.
Restaurantji Recommends
Very good food.Their specialty native jollof, ayamatse sauce and Bitter leaf soup are the best I have had from any Nigerian restaurant.
Been here multiple times and their food is ALWAYS excellent.I've tried the White Rice with Buka stew, porridge, peppered snail, efo riro, and then some; even the zobo drink was on point. I will certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you are looking for an authentic Nigerian food experience, to dine-in or take-out, HoneyBees is where you want to be!

Jollof rice taste good but the chicken didn’t taste good and the chicken still had hairs on it. Wait time wasn’t bad neither.
The worst experience ever, the food wasn’t good and they took too long!! They are way too pricey for unseasoned food.
This is not a place you will want to spend your money. They are terrible. I have had several orders with them, sometimes their food tastes good while most times their food tastes super salty and horrible. Costumer service is Zero percent. They need to be revaluated by the government agencies based on the quality of service and food they sell out to the public. It's a very terrible place. Don't even go near them on Uber.
