It’s a fine experience as long as you go along with the seriousness by which the “mixologist” understands themselves to be an artist that should not be interrupted while performing their craft. If you don’t play along—perhaps unconsciously—with the self-importance of the artist, prepare to be constantly corrected and informed about the proper etiquette of when it is ok to ask for another drink, the bill and all the others typical requests when frequenting a bar.

The cocktails, music, and vibes are amazing here! This was such a great accidental find for a nightcap in downtown Brooklyn!
We went on a Wednesday night, and there isnt a DJ on weeknights but John plays his vinyl albums all the way through with his amazing stereo setup!

One of my favorite home away from home spots. The vibes, drinks and music are always immaculate. Highly recommend checking out if you are in the area. Nothing like it on Park Slope and it’s worth the journey from other parts of

Came here with friends and absolutely loved it. Great spot in the slope.
Honeycomb Hi-Fi is by far my favorite place to go for a night out in Brooklyn, solo or with friends. I always feel super safe and chill there as a woman out alone, it's also cozy and cute for date night. The staff are welcoming and thoughtful, the sound system is heavy good, the drinks are fun and tasty, and the music is AWESOME. Any night is a good one to learn/hear some new music whether it's spun by the rotating resident DJs, or the bar tenders. The tenders are really a sweet treat, they're all music heads with different yet great taste. I like that I can roll in here dressed fancy or low key casual and not feel out of place. The spirits are delish (the Amaros and Mezcals are my faves!), prices are pretty average for a nice cocktail bar/lounge in NY, Honeycomb is definitely on the more affordable side as far as Hi-Fi spots go, certainly reasonable trade off for the ambience and general warmth.

Love Honeycomb ?
Bartenders rock, chill music with jazz and records played through.
And most importantly they serve my favorite botanical gin Ki No Bi from Kyoto Distillery, hard to find outside of Japan. There’s like 2 other bars in NYC that I know serve this. Come get some!!
Enjoy the music, get to know the people, and drink in the Japanese culture in Brooklyn!

Incredibly rude bartenders even for NYC standards. Both my boyfriend and I tried getting drinks and we were completely ignored. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere.

Great little Japanese inspired listening bar tucked in between two buildings in Brooklyn - the sound system was impressive and didn't disappoint, we were able to hold a conversation while still being able to hear all the details of the vinyl being played just a few feet away from us. I'll never be able to afford a Rolls Royce, but at least I can order it as a mixed drink here!
The drinks were decent and the bar staff are friendly. This place attracts a variety of interesting folks. For a listening bar- the people were quite rowdy, but the sound system and music was good (we went on a Friday tho.. so that amount of volume from the people is expected). This place is small and intimate… the bathroom door didn’t close enough to lock, which isn’t great… but that’s really my only complaint. The music had a nice variety as well- jazz to rock to funk… switches and you get a lil bit of everything. We enjoyed our evening here!

Too expensive, cocktails not made well, too loud and charges extra to use credit card but they do not tell you that. Hard Pass.

Absolutely amazing! Great drinks and great bartenders. Very good DJ, good tunes, lovely environment and very low key (10pm). I appreciated the owner commenting to the DJ at one point when the music got a little loud “there a fine line between too loud and letting the conversation flow”… this place let’s the conversation flow. LOVE IT!
