So I ordered a seafood boil for takeout as I was craving seafood. This is my first time visiting this location so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the mini crab leg seafood boil as it was explained to me, it consisted of one cluster of crab legs which is typically 4-5 legs. There’s an option for a larger boil with 2 clusters. It comes with 2 potatoes and 1 corn & you can add additional sides for an additional price. I ordered some sausage and an additional corn as well as their garlic bread sticks.
The garlic bread sticks were super oily and inedible. Absolutely disgusting!!! It appears that it was some type of fried bread/dough kind of thing.. I can’t even explain what it was but it was saturated in grease, not butter. It was instantly tossed in the garbage.
Crab legs are my favorite food in general. I have eaten an extensive amount throughout my life even making them quite often. Don’t let the picture deceive you. These were the smallest crab legs I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even know crab legs could be that little. I don’t know if the mini boil is conducive to the size of the crab legs but that’s exactly what they were, mini. They were unseasoned, barely any meat inside and flavorless if not for the garlic butter sauce.
The sausage & potatoes were good but the corn wasn’t fresh as I believe they use frozen corn. It was hard and overcooked.
I did take out so the service was average but they also do KPOT & Hot Pot there so the server politely explained to me how it works as I was looking at the menu.
I wanted to try out their KPOT but since my seafood boil was so disappointing, I don’t think I’ll be back.

We celebrated my twins birthday and they made it extra special. The food was fresh, the boils were nice and full and our drinks were on point. Definitely coming back..

We recently visited Hook & Reel at 2183B RALPH AVE BROOKLYN, NY 11234, known for serving snow crab, lobster tails, shrimp, and other seafood delicacies. We were a party of three and, after being seated, were given only two sets of utensils and a single plastic cracker for shelling. Naturally, we asked for a third set, as we all needed utensils to enjoy our food and a hard not plastic cracker.
To our disappointment, we were told there was a “line” to wait for crackers, which was baffling given that the restaurant was almost empty—less than 10% occupied. We had to ask multiple times, and finally, instead of helping us directly, our server deferred to the manager.
When the manager arrived, his response was unhelpful and dismissive. He claimed they were still “waiting for a delivery” of crackers, as though that explained why a seafood restaurant couldn’t supply basic utensils for its guests. We were left feeling neglected and undervalued.
The lack of attention to customer satisfaction and the poor excuse for why they couldn’t provide us with basic tools to enjoy our meal was unacceptable. For a restaurant known for seafood, it was disappointing to see such a lack of preparation and disregard for customer service.
I will never step my foot to this restaurant.

I ordered from this place and my order was incorrect. I spoke with the manager and they couldn't fix the situation as far as what I ordered and instead of being a professional business man and remaking my order that I spent money on a delivery. He asked me to spend MORE MONEY when they have a kitchen with workers messing up orders for delivery. I am not a person to leave bad reviews on someone's establishment. But this one was handled completely unprofessional. I advice you don't waste your money ordering anything online from them. You will be definitely disappointed and upset like me. If you do go to the establishment check your order before you leave. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE.

This experience was great for me and my sisters hanging out. This experience would not have been superb if it wasn’t for Keith and his customer service, hospitality, and professionalism, perfect balance of drinks. This is my second time here and Keith has shown a consistent customer facing experience. Thank you.
