I’ve been trying to contact this restaurant for a full day now. I recently dined here and left my glasses and NO ONE will pick up the phone or get back to me. If someone could please contact me I’d really appreciate it because as of right now I’m really disappointed in my experience here and the lack of customer service there is.

PLEASE Change the menu back!!When Hound's Tree first opened, I went for my birthday in September for appetizers and wine flights. We were able to order local salads, grains, cheeses, and charcuterie board which all came with complimentary bread. Overall it was such a lovely night out, making us super excited to return.Fast forward to now: the menu totally changed. They now only have about 3 options: a meat board (that has non approached meats such as liver), a cheese board (very small) and some oysters. We even tried to get the veggie meat board since we were told it would have hummus, carrots and veggies. Instead we received some bread and what looked like two tablespoons of carrots and chickpeas that were put in a blender (not worth $$). They also make you pay per-person instead of per plate!! Not ideal if you want to try some wines in a beautiful atmosphere and have a small bite.The group that we were with all agreed that although we loved the wines, we would not go back because of how bad the snack/appetizer options were. Please do something about this!

Incredible wine list specializing in local wines. The servers are extremely knowledgeable and picked wines that were delicious, unique and in our price range.First time we came we had the cheese and charcuterie plate. All locally sourced and very tasty. Second time we got the 5-course tasting menu and we were not disappointed. The pate with root vegetables was the perfect start to the meal and the duck was decadent.Hound’s Tree is an amazing and much needed spot in the hood. 5 stars!

Let's just say this was an amazing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Our server was Maij. He was the absolute best. If I can give him twenty stars I would. He was so passionate and knowledgeable about the wines. He explained each wine in such a way that it made us want to know more. We came in as wine novices but thanks to Maij, we are now wine advanced beginners (LOL). But seriously, this was a great experience made even greater by the fantastic service we received. We will definitely be returning. For us, service is everything!!!! To top it off, the wines were Deeeeliiicious!!!

My favorite date spot in Williamsburg.The good: the selection of wines is excellent, remarkably diverse and flavorful, local, and often organic.The food was also surprisingly good for a wine spot, from cheese tastings to entrees. I had the roast duck which was crisp and flavorful.The atmosphere is new and chic, pretty much all of the customers on Friday night were on intimate dates, or small groups.The bad: In spite of a large outdoor and indoor capacity, all of the seats were taken. The word is out, I'd be sure to arrive on the earlier side if possible.
