We recently hosted our Chinese wedding banquet at this restaurant, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.
The food was absolutely incredible — authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked to perfection, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was, and by the end of the night, nearly everyone was asking for take-out boxes to bring home leftovers — that’s how good it was!
The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and celebratory, creating the perfect setting for our wedding. The banquet hall was spacious, clean, and beautifully arranged, allowing everyone to move around comfortably while still feeling close and connected. The restaurant really captured that traditional yet modern Chinese banquet feel that we were hoping for.
The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and extremely organized. They made sure the food came out promptly and stayed perfectly timed with the flow of the evening. From coordinating the table service to accommodating special requests, everything was handled smoothly and with genuine care.
All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say about both the food and the venue. It truly made our special day even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place to host a wedding banquet, family celebration, or any large gathering with authentic Chinese cuisine, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. They delivered a five-star experience in every way.

I grew up in this area and HoWong has always been a favorite to go to. Growing up, my mom brought me here when she heard they had claypot eel rice. The burnt bottom bits were always the best. Crunchy, savory, and just fun to eat when you’re a kid. HoWong is a family run restaurant, and the workers have always welcomed me equally, whether it be for sitdown dimsum, takeout riceboxes, grabbing congee when I’m sick, or having birthday dinners. The atmosphere is always lively, service is great, and I’ve always been satisfied with my experience here.

As someone who works in the food industry and has a food protection certificate, I know my food and food safety. I’m still eating here and I will continue to do so.
People would believe anything without any context. The video is literally only showing meat in a car… and the creator proclaims in the caption it’s the restaurant and people believe it. Please do your research first before making false reviews and dragging down a restaurant that has been with the community for so long.

The food is great from many times of my experience. Been seeing reviews of meat transportation and its false,, that van is related to the supermarket next door and not the restaurant. The restaurant itself has always had great service and kept clean to the best of their ability, especially the quality of their food. Please dont be baited by the false reports.
