Good coffee. Staff was friendly.

This is a really nice coffee shop in a great area and the coffee is great because they use StumpTown beans. The management and service is pretty week, the employees don't really pay attention to the customer and they have bad communication and they mess up simple orders pretty consistently. But over all its a good spot just wish they were more customer focussed.

Honestly terrible management, there are new employees constantly and they never know what they’re doing. When there’s a line they make you say your order twice - why? Today I asked for a large iced coffee and they gave me a small - I had to ask 3 times for them to double check and then the young man put it into the larger cup and just filled it to the top with more ice, not coffee. This isn’t the first time. Not to mention it’s on average $1 more than all the other local spots. I’ve given this place too much of my time and money out of convenience for location. Enough.

Julian was an amazing person! He made the best iced espresso! Vibe was so chill! We visited from LA! Fabulous experience! Coffee was SO rich in taste. Come see us in LA Julian! Stay cool!

I love Hungry Ghost! I first tried their coffee with my husband, and l've been going ever since. It's a small cafe with a few tables, but it is very cozy and peaceful. Definitely a must try if in the area.

Lovely quick stop for delicious coffee to go, however, because there is no restroom, it is not a destination cafe. Works great for a grab and go from a pretty environment. It will work to stay a while if you have a nearby destination, otherwise “to go” is your best option. If you are visiting/ sight seeing/ journaling etc… the hungry ghost in nearby Park Slope 7th avenue has a rest room. I will review other “destination” cafes in this area when I find them. In the meantime have a lovely day.
