The Atmosphere was festive and had great service. One from my group had lamb chops which were big and tender. Everyone enjoyed our meal and will be going back soon.

Great place for lunch or dinner. There pork chops, garlic mash, saute spinach and apple sauce are outstanding. I have never had a bad meal here.
Visited the restaurant during restaurant week. The pre fix menu had a good variety, with healthy portions, and a can’t beat price. Service was great and the classical decor was well complemented by the cover band on the Sunday we stopped in. Highly recommend if you are looking for an establishment that will never go out of style.

We had our family reunion farewell dinner at Hunter's Steak and Ale House. We used their private room which was spacious for about 50 people and opted for a serviced buffet style dinner. Everything was delicious but we liked the chicken marsala the best. Make sure to leave room for their tiramisu and cheesecake. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Karen who made sure our drinks were full and we were happy. Thank you.
Parking: Complimentary valet parking right in front of the restaurant was provided when we visited this restaurant.

My dad came to visit a few weekends ago and I took him to Hunter’s for dinner. We sat in the bar area and there was a top notch trio playing jazz and blues. The food was excellent and my dad, a jazz fan, remarked that now we don’t have to go to Greenwich Village and pay a cover to hear the same thing. We’ll definitely be back on his next visit.
Came in Friday night for dinner with reservation; brought 4 bottles of wine and total aware of bottle fee.After sitted, waiter took our appetizer orders and agreed to bring extra wine glasses. Appetizers came after 20 min, but never the extra wine glasses.Our waiter did not come back for another 20 min to take our entree orders.We ordered porterhouse (medium rare), pasta with white claim sauce, filet mignon pepper sauce. Both Porterhouse steaks cooked fully "well donr. Pasta of the white clam pasta is garlicky without incorporate the clam flavor.Overall a decent place for family dinner, not a spectacular steak house.

My family and I had the most terrible experience at Hunter's Steak and Ale House. Let me first start by saying I made a reservation for today, attempting to celebrate Mothers day early with my family and when I get there, they seat us in an area to only make us move because they seated us in the wrong area. Then we waited about 40 minutes for appetizers which was a simple mozzarella sticks and BBQ chicken wings and worse part we waited another hour for our food which never came. My family and I watch numerous people come in to get their food before us yet we never received ours. Let me say my order was a simple hamburger with French fries, two orders of chicken tenders with French fries and Salmon with potatoes. Why other people who ordered steak received their orders before I did is a mystery. After realizing the waitress must of forgot about my and family's order, we get up to leave and tell the manager our terrible experience for him to respond " it's ok, no worries ". First of all it's not ok, this is not the way to conduct a business nor is it ok to waste someone's time especially when my family and I was trying to enjoy a wonderful mother's day early. I will never go back to this place!

Seem like a bit of an older crowd. Some nice live music. I have made reservations weeks ahead. And kinda disappointed where they put us to sit. It was beside the walk way where servers run. And a few times not just once if we did not move our heads we were have been hit with trays was kinda angry about that. Food was good and prices for a steak were pretty good.
