I enjoyed the new bartender that you guys have. I believe his name is King? I don’t necessarily remember, though I would have rated this a 4.5 if it weren’t for the “security” that they have. For starters, I would not have known he was security if it weren’t for his god awful approach. He quite literally is dressed as someone who is ready to coach a soccer team and set them up for failure. As “security”, in my opinion, they should be standing at the door and ultimately being the first point of contact of the establishment. Instead he finds himself to be hidden from the entrance and will harass you and anyone he seems to deem as “harassable.” As a customer that has been here over 3 times o can assure you that it wasn’t because it was one of those days. He unfortunately is always irrational and drives people out of the establishment. On my most recent encounter, I brought a group of my friends and he harassed 4 of my 11 friends upon waking in because as a whole we lacked to realize the establishment even had a “security”.

This was my first time in Brooklyn and this bar was the highlights of Brooklyn. The atmosphere was chill, but Josh really made our experience that much better. He was professional, while being personable. My friend and I came in because of the aesthetic of the bar, but we stayed because of Josh. A must visit in Brooklyn!

This bar was totally my vibe. Josh, the bartender was not only a perfect balance of professional/friendly, but just a genuine humble guy to talk to. They had game 2 of the Mets v as Dodfers playoffs and the owner (Pepper) would switch the audio to music during the commercials. I felt like better than home here.
