This lowkey spot on Fulton Ave but the food is tasty! I ordered the Rasta Pasta along with the Vegan bowl. I was very impressed with how good it was! Good portions and great service from the staff in choosing which plate to get. They wer patient and clean with how they serve and keep the food. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in the area.

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel like I have to. I used to love this place and was a big fan of their bone-in j*** chicken and oxtail stew. I was upset that they were temporarily closed for a bit but was excited to find that they have now opened back up. I had my usual chicken and rice and peas but found the whole meal to be bland. The rice was also clumpy while parts of it was extremely dry. Really disappointed with the drop in quality and hope you can rectify for the future.

I ordered the j*** lunch special for both my mom and myself, and to put it mildly this is not it chief. The j*** chicken had to be the blandest I’ve ever had in life. I couldn’t taste a hint of seasoning. The rice was clumpy and flavorless. The only highlights I can say there was to this meal was the scotch bonnet sauce, which I drenched everything in to try and make it palatable and the fried plantains, because seriously who could mess up what nature had already perfected. The service was good even though when I got to the register to pay the machine was down, that issue was quickly resolved. The atmosphere was also nice, but the main attraction (food) really was subpar.

Sorry for the display of my meal, but I took a few bites. But what I had ordered was the j*** restaurant pasta with the pineapple j*** sauce and cabbage.I love coming to this spot when I come to Brooklyn for work. Close to my office, foe the price of this plate is acceptable for the amount of food given. Their food is always on point and the employees is always pleasant and easy to talk to. Love the decor of the interior. A must go to spot.

Not very good West Indian food. Most went in the trash after a couple bites. The patties tasted like frozen patties from a box, not fresh made. I can tell because I make patties from scratch all the time, dough and all. The oxtails weren’t very nicely flavored and the rice and peas were clumpy and over cooked. I won’t be back when I can make this food myself at home 10x better.

Great food! Went here for the first time recently. The Boneless J*** Chicken with Rasta Pasta, Charred Corn (Spicy) and Plantain is THE BOMB!!!! Excellent food and portions. Friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. I had enough food for the next day.

Me and my partner went to Imani’s and the atmosphere and service was amazing! I had the j*** pasta bowl, and my partner had the j*** chicken with rice. While the rice was very good the pasta left things to be desired. I wish the pasta was more “rasta”. The food was still good, and they fill your bowl up! I would definitely go back.

We ate here twice in two days. The food is good. The music is from home and the staff (V and Lewis, in particular) welcoming. The portions are large, easily 2 portions in one dish unless your appetite is verrry healthy. We had the oxtail and j*** chicken bowls. The oxtail is soft and well seasoned, the rice flavourful and great texture, the chicken was tasty but I wouldn't consider it j**** smoky and grilled sure but not j**** Didn't stop us from going back another time!

I just left not to long ago because I was craving Caribbean food. I ordered the stew chicken meal which was absolutely disgusting!! On top I received nothing but a few pieces of chicken and the rest was bones. Two hours later I was by the toilet throwing up!!!I should’ve went to fisherman cove where the food taste better, they have lunch specials!! $19 dollars down the drain….

Overall a great place for dinner, good portions. One negative experience but they've redeemed themselves. I would definitely recommend

OMG I've been here 3 times and the food is delicious, the oxtails, j*** chicken, rasta pasta, steamed cabbage is my favorite... ? I'm looking forward to trying the other food as well. If you haven't tried this place, you need to go ASAP. The workers are really nice and the customer service is excellent.

The food there is awesome after 5 p.m. whoever pulls the food for the evening shift is a great chef. But I can't say much about the lunch shift. It's been a couple of times that the food was dry and not very appetizing before 5 pm

My son was complaining of stomach pain after eating that and threw up the curry chicken rice and cabbage when I originally ordered a j*** chicken salad and oxtaaila with j*** chicken rice and beans with corn because it was too spicy and even my oxtail and j*** chicken was spicy after I ASKED if the two was spicy before ordering it smh total waste of money and I can't handle spicy stuff so I was drinking more water than eating... Then to top it off it cost me $48 and change for two meals that was no good. I wish the guy would've been honest with me instead of telling me it wasn't spicy so I wouldn't have wasted my time and money. Horrible. My son threw up 3 times and still complaining of stomach ache. Idk what y'all put in that food but I don't recommend it.
