Have ordered from Indian Spice twice through Uber and twice they got our order wrong. One order they FAILED TO MAKE VIRTUALLY OUR ENTIRE ORDER but we did get drinks naan straws and biryani that was oddly sweet. Not sure how you get a computer order wrong but they do. 2 strikes, not interested in a third.

I am writing this review still fuming from an awful experience with two women working tonight (10/25). In short, we ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan through Uber Eats but then received the entirely wrong order an hour later. We got the issue corrected with Uber Eats, and I called the restaurant to ask that they remake our order for which we would pick it up and pay for it in person.
The main woman who was assisting asked me where the incorrect order was as she claimed it is a requirement that we bring the wrong order back to the restaurant to be issued a full refund (?). I said I was not made aware that we had to do this, and furthermore, I know that based on hygienic food practices, they should be trashing any food that goes to the wrong customers… especially since the food has now changed hands multiple times with a delivery driver and being in our home…
She insisted that this was not true and that the food could be used to feed their employees, which may be the case, but again, this was not clear and I am skeptical of any restaurant who accepts back food that has been out of their sight for nearly 2 hours at that point.
She and the other woman continued arguing with me on this - at one point insisting they will send their delivery driver back with me to pick up the food?! Absolutely not. I was feeling incredibly harassed at this point - and honestly between being hungry and pregnant, I communicated this and that this situation was stressful, but they were continuing to argue with me. The second woman started to dismiss me and was clearly visibly miffed with me, even though they were the ones to start this and refused to drop it.
I asked my husband to come in and take care of the bill because I had to remove myself from that situation, and I could see him through the window continuing to be berated by the main woman for her assumption that we would be trashing the food that was incorrectly delivered. (I never stated this, I did state that I am aware that restaurants have to throw this food out.) He confirmed that she was being just as argumentative with him.
This is such a shame because Indian Spice was such a wonderful part of our experience when we last lived in Brooklyn, and based on this, I would never order from here again.

I wanted to give this spot a try, as I had a taste for Indian food on my lunch break. I ordered the tikka masala and two plain naan. I walked inside the establishment and the atmosphere was very inviting, and the waiter was nice. I picked up the meal and left back to work. Upon inspection, I could count only 4 singular pieces of chicken swimming within a massive soup of masala. Four pieces of protein! Where did all the chicken go? I was left with a full bowl of subpar bland masala sauce - which went well with the naan - but the chicken was nowhere to be seen. It was more of a masala soup. I will try this place out again, and update my review accordingly, but I do hope to see maybe ten pieces of chicken in my tikka masala!

Our server was great and the restaurant itself is very nice inside, but one of our dishes was very disappointing. First off, they got our order wrong. We asked for chicken saag and we got paneer. That’s ok, it happens. But also, there were maybe 4 small pieces of paneer in the entire dish. It was mostly just spinach which wasn’t nearly enough protein, also considering that I was splitting it with another person. It definitely felt like a rip off. Won’t be ordering that again.

Tell you what… I live real close. I had eaten here a few years ago. Tonight, I went in, and was struck by the flavors. Simple items, samosas and chicken tikka masala.
I asked the waitress, is this new management? New chef, she said. I could tell. The mint sauce made fresh. Samosas tasted in-house. The masala not too creamy, or sweet. Chicken tender and flavorful.
Came to $21 and change. Noticeably upgraded from a few years ago.
I paid, and spoke to the owner. Yes, new chef, and we are making things fresh here. I noticed!
Will be back, will take pics next time.
Okay, so I went to Indian Spice the other night, and it was seriously good. The place is chill, not too fancy, but the food? Amazing! I had the butter chicken, and it was so creamy and flavorful. My friend got the lamb vindaloo, and he was sweating, but he loved it. The naan was fresh out of the oven and perfect for soaking up all the sauce. Plus, the service was super friendly. If you're in the mood for some authentic Indian food, this place is a must-try! Seriously, you won't regret it.

This article nice quiet restuarant with tasty food, great service & pretty good ambiance. The dishes We ordered, chicken biryani, goan salmon, tandoori salmon, paneer & the Naan bread were served in pretty dishes. Only 2 dowsides were, out of 5 desserts, only 2 were available and when ordered 1 of each, Everything was delicious & the server was very nice & courteous.

The food here is delicious, wow. Wish I lived near it to order from here more often. Their beers (bottle) for some reason were not cold, well below average.

Had a delicious meal in their restaurant. Normally we get take out from here but stopped in for dinner and the food and service was excellent. Recommend ordering the samosas - very fresh.
Quiet hang out in bustling Park Slope serving up delicious curries and rotis. We have been frequenting this space for decades now, despite its having undergone several management changes. While the food used to be good, and never failed to disappoint, it's just gotten better and was at its best this evening. The space is clean, the atmosphere pleasant with some good hindi music playing and the service was efficient, even though it was just one person serving, doing her own justice on a mid-week night. Whether we are asking them to plan an extended family function for us or we're picking up take out or sitting down to an intimate dinner, Indian Spice is our favorite go to for delectable Indian food.
I've only ordered take up from here, but it is my go to place. I have been inside to pick up and the atmosphere is very romantic, dark and moody, definitely good for a date. My partner and I moved in nearby and when we need a real meal that we know is going to be delicious and filling we treat ourselves to Indian Spice. My birthday is coming up and I know where we will be ordering from, because at 36 all I want to do is eat great food and watch TV with my man and my dog, thank you very much!
I’m one to love Indian cuisines, but this one had just be a cut below the rest. Not only did I have hair in my food but the cashier had seemed fairly rude even though I have not reciprocated any bad vibes towards them, it was as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. Rest assured I will not be stepping foot in this establishment as they’ve clearly established that my kind is not welcome there, I’d advise others to do the same if they can help it.
As an Indian I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, dirty and nasty. Always late and the food quality sucks.
