I've tried so much indian food in Bushwick and surrounding areas. Nothing compares to Indika house. Their food is consistently astounding and fresh unlike other indian restaurants in the area. This place is top tier. Please eat here for your own satisfaction!

Delicious and authentic Indian food. We ate Gobi 65 which was perfectly spicy cauliflower, with not too much heat for this hot head. Samosas were good, though we should have ordered the chaat samosas instead with chickpeas in lieu of peas. Chicken vindaloo was exactly how it should be with lots of flavor and spicy. Chicken tandoori was sizzling and mouth watering. Only negative was the sheetrock repairs which was odd but I suppose it's not easy to paint that huge mural. Portions are large, and unfortunately we were on our way to the Market Hotel across the way with no where to store leftovers. We could've shared the vindaloo or the tandoori between the 2 of us with the appetizer. Lastly the cracker bread with the green sauce, bell pepper sauce and tamarind sauce were all good.

Paneer Tikka Masala is my comfort food and today I needed it. Went to the restaurant the first time, and did not disappoint at all. 10/10 highly recommended. Flavourful, a good portion, big thank you ✨️✨️
+ the cheese garlic naan is out of this world!

Indika house is our go-to for Bushwick. Is it the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten? no. Is it the best in the neighborhood, for sure.
Other places that I won’t name that have good reviews on here make food that I find inedibly salty. So if you like that, you might not like this. The balance of flavors here is good. Good spice level (we always write a note in the directions for medium spice). The saag is fresher tasting than most. We mostly order vegetarian options, so I can’t speak to the meat quality, but it’s not as greasy and feels a bit healthier than other Indian takeout options.
My only disappointment is that sometimes they forget the little sauce condiments.

Ordered Indika House for delivery. I was honestly expected some mid-quality food due to how reasonably-priced their takeout meal deal was. But boy, was I wrong; everything was delicious, fresh, and warm.
I’ve been to some Indian places that try to hide stale / dry chicken with curry, but the meat in Indika House’s butter chicken was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. My expectations for the Aloo Tikki were also low, I’ve had places serve it like a dry, seasoned hockey puck. But Indika House’s version was crispy and flakey on the outside and soft, flavorful on the inside.
So thrilled to have another regular takeout spot added to our list!

UNMATCHED!!! Consistently incredible food. We’ve been ordering delivery from Indika House for years and the quality and flavors are always on point. They’re closed on Tuesdays and once or twice we decided to try another restaurant on that day. Never. Again. Indika House is the only way!! Keep it up!

Extremely small portions for the price. The mains - at $16-22 each - the size of starters. And this is not a fine dining establishment.
Very good food. Affordable for the area. Worth the visit.
