Middle Eastern food and the atmosphere at this location is excellent. Came in on a Thurs. This place has a good design. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

My top spot for delicious middle eastern food. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. The service here is friendly. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Atlanta.

Iraqi House Rest. is literally the best one in BayRidge, Brooklyn, NY. I have ever seen in my entire life and it totally and completely has irresistible foods even the owner has a particular delectable touch on each plate when given to a customer. I recommend people to go to it and grab some, you won't lose a thing, if you give it a shot to try those delectable foods at Iraqi House Rest.

It was a very good restaurant, I have been looking for iraqi food for a while and finally I found this restaurant. The Kubbah was the best it took me back to Iraq, and the iraqi tea was nostalgic, it was with cardamom and served in the little iraqi cubs.

We had lunch here today for the first time so we could try some food from Iraq. Everything was delicious. The kubba, the bakhlama and the lamb kebob sandwich were all freshly made and so tasty. The meat in the lamb kebob sandwich was well spiced and tender and the pita bread was warm and soft as a pillow. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine with some new items added to the menu, then try this restaurant.

Truly excellent food. And great service. Will definitely come back. If you love lamb, this is your place. Try the Iraqi Lentil Soup. It's delicate and it warms the soul. Nuanced cooking.

It's good. Cool to have Iraqi cuisine, and the owner is the order-taker, so that's interesting.

It was great to have a taste of home away from home. Very authentic, delicious and freshly made Iraqi Lamb Quzi. The owner and chef is a very nice guy and I wish all the success for his restaurant!

Iraqi House Restaurant is a unique spot where you can taste delicious food, and appreciate the idea and labor behind it. Since the owner, chef and waiter is the same person who is very friendly and caring, you have to leave all your hurry outside of the threshold and just focus on the experience. We have been there for lunch and it was pretty quiet, but the food was AMAZING! We ordered babaganush, meat buraq, and kubbah as appetizers that each of them were delicious, but kubbah was just out of the word!!! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should. As second course we got makhlama and dolma. Dolma has got me back in days that my mom cooked, perfectly spiced and delightful. makhlama is the chef's special that deserves to respect, flavorful and tasty!!! We are looking forward to going back and taste rest of the menu!

This unassuming restaurant nestled on a block full of them is run by a very kind man, who also happens to be the owner, chef, the busboy & the waiter, all in one. It's a must-try for anyone in the neighborhood - we had the makhalma, buraq, and kubba - everything was fresh & delicious. Regret not getting more!
