Lived across from here for 6 months and it's the best food ever. imo the curry chicken is the best, but the barbecue and jerk are so good too! Also the drinks are super tasty, especially the mauby and peanut juice. Anyway this is from the perspective of a white guy who had never had Jamaican food before lol
Also great to get a gluten free gf

They have only one person attending to everything and if you are in a bad mood, the service is not recommended, it is a disaster, do not order here

I ordered the oxtails and My Son ordered jerk chicken, So I tried everything. All the meat was seasoned well and cooked perfectly Keeping it tender. Peace and life was OK. Missing it with the macaroni and cheese made it better and that’s what my son did. I personally like my cabbage crunchier, and I found it overcooked, but again seasoned very well. I will definitely eat here again

Best Stew Chicken 🤤& great prices
They give a good amount and the food doesn’t taste too bad but I think they don’t know what mild is. On 2 occasions I ordered a curry chicken roti and selected the mild option & it was so spicy I couldn’t enjoy it. I’ve noticed they put the black pepper seeds in the mild curry. That’s ridiculous because it’s supposed to me MILD, so I don’t understand why they add pepper seeds.
Placed an online order. And a lot of restaurants get away with giving ppl old food. But to do that knowing it’s not fit for human consumption is something else. I will never again eat anything from this spot in life. Deserves negative stars.

The woman that works at this place is an absolutely rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and nasty person who shouldn't be out there treating clients the way she does.

I didn't come here for the ambience. I came here for the delicious patties. If you know anything about Jamaican restaurants IN Jamaica you know the best food places don't waste money on decor; they put it in their food preparation, etc. Best jerk chicken I've ever had was at a side road shack between Ocho Rios and Mo Bay with the mutt dog laying not too far from the fire pit roaring in the ground. The entire bus full of people had the best food that night: we stayed for 2 hours. Same here.
Parking: Get smart, get an electric motorbike. Cars are on their way out in NYC.
Kid-friendliness: Too small for the pickney. Leave them home.
