Dropped into The Irish Haven on my brother's 40th birthday Brooklyn bar crawl. My brother has been in the Irish Haven on every NY vacation. Stayed for a few rounds such was the absolutely tremendous craic from Emmett behind the taps. A true raconteur barman (takes one to know one, I guess!). Poured us a Guinness that you wouldn't be mad to get here in Ireland and kept the laughter flowing. Thanks a million. We'll be back, next time we're across the water.
the bartender/ dominican lady was getting drunk and acting weird and starting issues with me with her friend cause I was playing music that they didn't like. if the owner is ready this Retire, cop. You have a bad bartender.
Dropped into the Irish haven on Monday 18th march,,, I felt right at home straight away, bar staff are really friendly and they can pull you a decent pint of cream... Got talking to the owner's, lovely lads, chatted to them for awhile, and had a good few pints, it made my day to meet some great people... Here for a full week and I intend to go back for a few pints...so if you're ever in Brooklyn, give this place a look in. James, Ballyfermot, Dublin ?
