I LOVE Ishi so much... This was my favorite omakase experience in NYC! Brought my parents here for their anniversary and their first ever Omakase. The ambiance is lovely. The interior is warm, inviting and intimate. Staff is very welcoming. The food is AMAZING and high quality. Every single piece was delicious and we were so impressed. I will definitely be back. There are so many great omakase places in NYC but this was the first that made me want to revisit even without a special occasion to celebrate.Thank you to the team at Ishi for such a wonderful experience!

thrice cooked
A few pieces stood out and were very good (sweet shrimp, sea scallop, wagyu, toro, hand roll) but other pieces were bland despite the fish being very fresh. Probably wont be back even though i live in the neighborhood.

Incredible Omakase. Have been to many in the city and Ishi raises the bar. Great price also for the food you get. Highly recommend!

The ingredients are high quality but the chef needs to pay more attention in the sushi. If the rice fell off after I pick it up that usually means there’s something wrong.

Brought my girlfriend here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and her birthday as well. Not too familiar with omakase experiences but had absolutely nothing negative to say about the food. Fish tasted fresh and simple. Service was exceptional, warm and friendly. Immediately felt welcomed and at home. Also brought us a surprise birthday cake at the end.
Hard to get a better omakase experience in Brooklyn. Exceptional quality and very attentive

Phenomenal experience. Always wanted to do an omakase in New York. I saw some 5-600 a person but found this place that's 18 courses 125 per person at the counter . There is also table seating for less but I always love the counter experience. Very clean and attentive service. Fish was all fresh melt in mouth . I was impressed . I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for affordable omakase.

They have 3 options of Omakase. I had the selection in the middle. Fresh creative and delicious. Only smalI mention is I wish they served soy sauce. They wish that you eat the way the chef prepares. I get it. Thought next time I will ask just the same. With no shortage of sushi restaurants in Park Slope you will need to be on top of your game.... Ishi Omakase is!

Came by Ishi and this was a really nice and intimate experience! The service there was great from the hosts, they made sure you understood the menu options and made suggestions according to your potential likings! The omakase experience here was really nice (we weren't even at the bar!!!) it was pretty packed but we definitely didn't feel rushed to eat/get out. The pieces were not heavy on the rice and they were all so intricate! Can't wait to come back
