Representative displayed short patience for me and a friend we weren’t sure what we wanted, their WiFi was down and she implied multiple times we should pay cash. We didn’t have cash. We were rushed out, she didn’t not give me a spoon or napkins and I forgot to get my loyalist card punched
I walked back ten minutes after realizing I dint get my customer loyalist Card stamped when I got back to to let her know she insisted that she did and I told her she did not! Afterwards she rushed me out literally and said nah I’m just joking so it was awkward and I don’t think I’ll be back

The grapenut ice cream is too delicious! It takes me right back home to Jamaica.

My friend and I decided to check out Island Pops around 1:30pm on a Saturday to try their unique ice cream flavors! There is no seating area, so that may be something to consider with the blazing summer heat.

I got the soursop ($6.24), and my friend got ovaltine ($6.24 + 0.52 for sugar cone). Regarding the heat issue, my friend's cone started melting like crazy as soon as we exited the shop, making it a little harder to eat. Flavor-wise, we sampled different flavors before settling on the ones we picked, and I will say the flavors are unique! I cannot speak to their authenticity, but it did seem like effort was put into creating the flavors. Texture-wise, the ice cream was slightly less creamy than my ideal texture, but that's more personal preference.

Customer service was fantastic! I asked a lot of questions to know the flavor profiles, and everyone in the store was extremely welcoming, helpful, and non-judgmental. The descriptions were also on-point! Overall, if you're open to trying new Caribbean flavors, head over to Island Pops!

Always delicious and always friendly. The grapenut has consistently been a favorite of mine.

Delicious icecream and sorbet, super friendly staff. Rum and raisin was the best I’ve had in BK…could actually taste the rum in the fat juicy raisins.

Decided to patronize Island Pops after reviewing their website and marketing materials. As a Trini I wanted to support this business and get well made naturally flavored ice cream for an event I was hosting. i purchased several flavors- Guinness, souprsop, rum and raisin, passion fruit and the sorrel sorbet.
While the service was good- prompt and courteous, the critique that my guests and I had regards the lack of pronounced flavor of these ice creams.
All of the flavors were too subtle. We conducted blind taste tests to see if we could identify these flavors that are well known to the West Indian palate. Guests struggled to identify all of the flavors except for sorrel.
If your clientele includes West Indians who know and love these tropical fruit flavors, they need to be more forward and pronounced.
I’ve read through some other reviews and see this issue of flavoring appearing repeatedly. You have a good idea, it could be great if it truly reflected the flavors we know and love.

The ice cream here is to die for. All natural homemade products that scream the culture that is Trinidad and the Carribean. Vibes here are immaculate 10/10 would recommend.

Love their peanut flavor but you should order ahead as they may not have it in stock. Their prices are also affordable and the space is very cute!
