phenomenal jerk box (jerk chicken); drinks are good too. Service a little slow, I think because of the bake and shark a member of my party ordered, that my order was held hostage but taste of that jerk chicken was redemption, absolutely superb!!!!

Kudos to LaToya and the Island Shack team. Housed in the old Smoke Joint location, Island Shack has filled a void in the Fort Greene community. The menu is authentic Trinidadian/Caribbean cuisine and the doubles for lunch is a major hit!!!!

Island Vibes at Island Shack
When my beloved Smoke Joint closed before the pandemic I was hoping it would be replaced with another quality restaurant. My prayers have been answered with Island Shack.
