Our School Leadership Team thoroughly enjoyed the catered dinner for this month’s meeting. The bake chicken, rice and peas, and salad was tasty and did not appear to have a lot of salt. We will definitely use IV purpose for other school events.

Vegetarian options: I don’t eat meats, however I am told by everyone that does that their assorted chicken options are the best! Back in the day when I ate meat, my wife cooked the best chicken by far and she was raving about the 1V Purpose’s chicken

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give for the service. My husband and I are new to the neighborhood and just stumbled upon this place and from the second we walked in Mooka made us feel like we were at home. The playlist—on point. The frozen rum punch—delish (and I don’t usually like frozen drinks), and the service??! FABULOUS. Order the wings, you won’t be disappointed. And whoever reads this tell Mooka and Jason thank you!

Updated Review: I paid $9 for this amount of fries… In person I never have this problem. I’m never ordering takeout from here if they mark up the price and give less food.
The food was very average. I got the burger and wings. The place was dead on a Saturday. Only one other family in the restaurant. I loved the music they were playing. Overall food was very “eh”. Will probably not be back.

I can’t recommend this place enough! I met with the manager a day before we wanted to host a watch party for our biggest college rivalry game. I told her that we’d have about 25-30 people and just wanted to support a Black-Owned Business. They were staffed up, people enjoyed the wings, and the rum punch had everyone lit. There’s multiple TVs, and music can be on or off. We’ll be back soon!
Is this place closed? I am trying to call during business hours and it states phone customer is unavailable.
