This is one of those special neighborhood places that is at the center of family and friendship. The food is made with love and is full of inventive spice, hearty but healthy portions. No fried food - just incredible soups, sandwiches and salads. The chef is committed and inventive and don’t get me started on the cacao! The rosemary cardamom cacao, is one of the most unique and satisfying things I’ve sipped on in a long time. After a sunny cold stroll in the park, treat yourself to some spicy soup and hot cacao. Great experience!

Been coming here for a long time, always happy with the choice. Placed a pick-up order, and after getting home and realizing the mix-up, gave them a call about the issue. They were so gracious and speedy making good on the mix-up, it was honestly shocking.

Ix is an absolute gem. The service is warm and attentive, and the attention to detail in every dish is remarkable. Their cacao is to die for, and the coffee is well worth going out of your way for. Order the fig and cheese appetizer, the soups/broths, pepián - and especially the cacau! All their hot chocolates 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 And all the people of /who work at Ix also super kind and great hospitality. Also! So allergy friendly - many of their dishes are or can be made weekend, vegetarian, and gluten-free so ++++
