Dessert here goes CRAZY. Plantain mole, rosemary churros, and chocolate were so good. Excited to come back to try brunch!
This is my favorite restaurant in the whole city. The soups/stews like the Pepian are remarkable. The cinnamon cocoa is unbelievable. Love the warm ambiance too. Always leave feeling so satisfied and happier than when I arrived.

Cozy spot for this winter days. However, ai have passed by during summer days and they have their door and windows open. Nice atmosphere.
Tasty and colorful food.

The food is delicious and I will keep coming here. I love the carrot soup, the heuvos rancheros, the sandwiches are terrific. Lots of vegetarian options.
The coffee is not great. At this point, I have tried all their coffee drinks and unfortunately, they are all pretty blah. If you are going to serve breakfast and brunch, coffee game need to be good.
Also, this place does not give you an itemized receipt. They just tell you what your bill is and then show you the tip screen. Please stop doing that. The person paying a bill has the right to know exactly what they are paying for. If you’re not going to bring a paper receipt, at least show the receipt on the screen instead of just asking for a tip. Don’t make it awkward for your customers.
The people running this place are very sweet and I wanna keep supporting this business, but the bill-paying moment is shady and awkward.

There’s a quiet confidence to this place. It doesn’t rely on flashy details or loud energy to stand out. Everything feels balanced, from the layout to the overall pace, giving the impression that things are handled smoothly behind the scenes.

Service and music was amazing - the live music on saturday was amazing. I liked the margarita. Only thing I was not a fan of was the stew I got - it was very sour

Stopped in on a cold day and it was perfect. The pepian is amazing and the cacao is some of the best in New York. Plus, staff is really kind

Best hot chocolate (cacao) in NYC
Absolutely beautiful food that is as good as it looks.

Great food, we got the fig and goat cheese dip, a few drinks and two of the main soups. Everything was fantastic and they have a live band on Saturdays. Great place to bring a date.

Ix is my favorite restaurant on this earth! You just have to go, there’s no words that can attest to the experience of dining there. The tamarindo drink, goat and fig appetizer, rosemary churros, carrot soup, are a few of my favorites!

Everything is good, but the best are the soups and hot chocolate, especially the iced hot chocolate.

Perfect cold weather food! The ambiance is warm and inviting, the staff are attentive without being overbearing, and the food is excellent. The portions are fair for the price, especially if you get it delivered — I’ve been able to get 2-3 meals out of the soup when getting it to go. Highly recommend the Pepian and Caldo Tlapeño Rojo soups. And if it’s cold out, get the cacao hot chocolate!
