A great place to try bbq in NYC. It was my first time ever visiting, and the man at the counter was very friendly and offered me a beer on the house. Throughout my visit, they checked on me and made sure I was comfortable and the food was good. I felt very welcome. And the food was excellent. I got the $100 special, and I think it was well worth the price. The main sitting area was crowded, so we sat down in an extended place next door. It was nice and cool inside, perfect for getting out of the warm muggy air outside.
