This place is so cute. Staff is great, and those cupcakes. The wizardry it takes to have frosting so light and flavorful. The pistachio cupcake itself was very soft and flavorful as well and a good size. It was my first time there and I'm reading reviews about a banana pudding that clearly I have to go back for.

I have known Joel.for.years he made my daughter frozen when she was younger it is very delicious. I have been a regular customer with j&j cakes he has made a name for himself and I'm super proud to call him my friend. . I just purchased my son cale for his 18th bday was absolutely gorgeous. My girlfriend asked for a simple vanilla birthday cake. Not my jam, but it's who she is. I picked up a vanilla cake from J and J's. They asked me when I would be eating it to ensure it had time to come to room temperature.
My girlfriends friends are definitly a bit pickier than I am when it comes to cake, and were happy to know it came from a local Brooklyn shop, but the cake was also a hit! Absolutely delicious from the frosting to the actual cake. Not too sweet but probably the most vanilla cake I have eaten at a party in a while.

I stopped in yesterday, while taking a walk. I was immediately greeted by Joel, who was welcoming and kind. I ordered 6 of the mini cupcakes, and they were all DELICIOUS. They also sold ice coffee, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered to pair with my cupcakes. I'm a Flatbush native, and with a lot of change occurring in the neighborhood, it's always nice to be able to support small local businesses. I will be back, and look forward to trying the sorbet, that they also sell.

Yall 100 outta 10 everything. The pistachio cupcake is actually made from heaven. And the carrot cake cupcake was perfection. I also demolished the birthday cake cupcake in one bite. It’s moist it’s creamy and its flavor is beyond!! And the owner is so sweet and so charismatic! Defintely going back!

I had the order, pick up window is 7h30pm- 8h pm. I came at 7h40 pm, employee was closing the store. I showed him my order and pick up window. He told me, he need to leave. After arguing, he gave me my order, but I didn't feel welcomed. Bad place. Even if working hours was changed , they should correct them. And I didn't understand why he didn't give me my order without arguing. It took just 2-3 minutes
Delicious cupcakes and wonderful service. We got custom cream cheese icing on our carrot cake cupcakes. And the chocolate and pistachio were also delicious!!

The shop and the staff were both nice. You will especially like the cupcakes if you are a fan of dense cakes, because the cakes here are DENSE. I tend to prefer a light and fluffy cake, but that's a matter of personal preference. Still good though.

They made me feel really special when I was picking up my birthday cake. When I walked in, they started playing the 50 cent song that goes ,"Go shawty, it's your birthday." He even let me draw a heart onto my own cake. It was very sweet. The service and atmosphere are a 10/10!!
