Been going to this bakery since living in the area for more than 25 years where the woman workin in the front was a Chinese Jamaican woman, who is a twin. Today, Aug 9, 2021 my mother told me the bakery will be closing.?☹️???? Their last day is also today 8/9/21! Im totally shocked and surprised! Their bakery items esp the patties are one of a kind and taste different and better than other JA bakery items in Flatbush, Brooklyn. I will def miss them and their patties, sugar buns, rock cakes, bun and cheese and the hardo bread. All the best to the JA PRIDE BAKERY OWNERS AND WORKERS.

Greatest Jamaican patties in Brooklyn. A wide variety from veggie, ackee, chicken, beef and meatloaf. The bulla is also a wonderful treat. Baked fresh on premise. The wait may be long but know that the wait is well worth it. Great value and Caribbean treats. They've also began to fry fish, make soups and fried dumpling. A neighborhood gem for sure.

The patties here are okay. The crust of the patties are a lil on the overcooked side. The chicken pattie is the winner here. Followed by the vegetable pattie. Not a fan of the salmon pattie as its "wet" inside. The fillings of the chicken and vegetable patties have a homemade taste which I enjoyed. Old school feel inside.

Got the black cake. Didn't expect much, not going to lie...now a believer. It's that good. The potato pudding was disappointing, didn't taste like mi Granny's!!

I ordered a birthday cake for my mother's 58th birthday. I told the old woman that I wanted the cake to be pink and teal. Like people who think they are always right she kept saying purple looks nice with blue. Told her again teal and pink went back and forth for a bit until someone came from the back and said yes those colors are nice and okay to the colors. Fast forward to pick up day guess what color...... blue and yellow and green . I will not be returning to this place. It is unprofessional and I will also be warning people about this place.

Delicious patties, flakey and wonderful crust with slightly spicy inside... Love the salmon patty and my daughter liked the beef. Also tried the vegetable soup which was delicious, filled with vegetables. This place is a gem and well worth a visit!
