This resaurant is racist against other cultures other than West Indian culture. I am of Liberian and American decendant. I walked in on Saturday, August 17, 2024 @ 1:15pm. I live on East 93rd and Rutland Rd so I have been coming to JamRock since I moved to Rutland Road back in 2015. They have always had good serving ladies. I come in on Saturday, August 17, 2024, the line is nonsense....if your West Indian you can skip the line and that is exactly what happened. I let that go and let them go in front of me....now I get to the server....there was some new rice that looked good but I didnt know what it was.....so I asked.....the new server with the yellow KINGSTON SHIRT was very nasty and impatient when I asked what type of rice that was. She spoke to me like I was stupid and dumb. I will never support Jam Rock again unless that particular server is gone. JAMROCK IF ITS NOT BROKEN DONT FIX IT......YOU SHOULD OF NEVER REPLACED YOUR ORIGINAL SERVERS. GUESS JAMROCK ONLY CATERS TO PEOPLE OF CARRIBEAN DESCENT...SORRY IM WEST AFRICAN

As good as the food is, please do better when serving/packing. Presentation is everything and I feel like I just wasted $40 cause I totally lost my appetite.
This place has the best prices, The goat curry is what I always get from there. Also, they do allow samples. you just need to ask! ? my advice for people who are particular about plating, the young lady plates the food in a considerately manner unlike the other older lady there that plates it how ever.

The obese older woman with a short Afro is the rudest person there. I asked what days do they cook pasta she responded with “When we feel like it”. She is the rudest lady I’ve ever encountered. She really doesn’t care for her job and it shows. She’s just there to make her money. I hope she gets fired from being so mean to her customers. I will never go here again.
