Really a minimum on the CC charge. Walked in & walked out! Will never walk back in again Such a shame as many small coffee shops offer CC payments with no minimum & much nicer atmospheres

Really awesome nova lox bagels! Pickled red onions, capers, and the bagel was nicely toasted so your teeth would just sink in!

Great spot in downtown Brooklyn for coffee, bagels and more! And their Yankee coffee is 100% Salvadoran! That's a plus! Had the York bagel it was yummy and a large Cup of Salvy coffee

I used to go here a lot. The staff is friendly, the food is decent, and the place is large and quiet. However, recently, I noticed that they have covered all the electric outlets to prevent customers from charging their computers or phones. Really? It is OK for you to charge 4-5 dollars for a cup of coffee but you are worried that your customers might use a fraction of a penny worth of electricity? If you do not want people to use their computers, why don't you put a sign and say so? It is shame! What a pity!

I like this place, it's convenient but the 5 dollar credit card minimum is so frustrating. Especially when I'm usually wanting to buy just a 3 dollar coffee. I, like most people don't carry cash around with me anymore. I like helping small shops but because of this minimum I always end up just getting my coffee next store at Brooklyn Fair. Seems like they end up losing out more money in the end since I and other people I spoke in my building stopped going and live directly across the street.

Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Food and drinks are good, especially the Cha Cha Chi.

Enjoy coffee and bagels but especially the hospitality and service each of the past 4 days. Best coffee in Brooklyn. Looking forward to returning. Bill and Nancy

worst place ever!! ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. first off who charges $5 for a $2.50- $3.00 sandwich. asked the worker why it cost so much, he points at the board and said bacon cost $2.50 extra. ( no bacon price written on board). on top of that it was microwaved bacon. totally sucks. last but not least the bagel with cream cheese was the worst in all of nyc. never knew there was a bad bagel with cream cheese especially in nyc!! their plain cream cheese is so sour that it tastes like your eating a lemon with every bite. if i could give them a negative star i would. worst cafe ever!!!! stay away unless you like ridiculously overpriced nasty food. (nyc is known for their bagels, definitely not representing nyc).

Great staff; very informative and polite. They steam all their milk (even soy). Such a different taste! The coffee is AMAZING and all coffee should probably be done with steamed milk :D Pricing is decent and the bagel I had (really looked forward to it) had the perfect amount of cream cheese (all around the middle, unlike other places that only add in the middle). Will definitely be returning!

This place is awesome. The coffee is delicious and made even better because they steam the milk, even almond milk. The iced coffee is great too. All the food is freshly prepared quickly in front of you. Service and ambience are wonderful as well.

Sure, I'm pretty hungover when I come here and I'm extremely happy with any food being thrown in front of me, but don't let that take away from the A-OK rating here. They can make you some decent eggs in the morning and have a nice selection of tea/coffee. Eggs will run you about 8$ and then a few toppings are extra, so it's not exactly a cheap breakfast. Great for a quick meal on the go though. Beyond the eggs, the bagels... are eh. Skip 'em if you can. Nothing special and nothing terrible here. If you search the area, you can probably find a better version everything. If you're to hungover to search, you'll do just fine here. Note: They only have one burner, so multiple egg orders will take a while.

Coffee is so much better next door at Brooklyn Fare Bakery. Never wasting my money here again

The coffee has always been terrible but I'd stop in for the the random egg sandwich in the morning UNTIL I was charged a $1 surcharge for a 'Weekend Tax' (which isn't written on the menu nor was it told to me until I was rung up) - this is just ridiculous, a bad business move executed poorly so I won't be going back. There's plenty of great coffee in this area, I'll just run to a bodega for a quick bite next time.
