The wait was very long. When I asked how long I would have to wait for my order, the staff ignored me!!!

One of the best local places for a good chicken roti and other Trinidadian dishes but the customer service is not consistent and the line can be long with an even longer wait time. We understand that good employees are hard to come by but it's a balancing act in the food business. Find the right balance and your profit margin goes through the roof.

Im a regular morning customer and I must say the food calls for desperate attention by the health department, for 3 days straight I had to walk out because I regularly buys sausages and bake and the sausages looks like they're been taken out the refrigerator from an old can ,it was horrible, it was black,it was dried it was disgusting 🫣 please guys
Food standard has dropped drastically!!!! I got a beef roti over the weekend the roti skin was very thick and beef overcooked.. so awful!! Also worker’s do not receive tips when payments are made with card and are not allowed to accept cash tips either. I’m never going back to this restaurant….

The food is worth returning for but the service is disgusting. The staff is very rude and nasty. I will never return although the food is good.

Bought a few doubles but the bara was not fresh and I am a Born Trini and specialized in doubles and I don't appreciate paying money for stale food

If you’re craving authentic Caribbean flavors, Jen’s Roti on Flatbush Ave is a must-try. Their doubles are packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned, and the goat roti is tender, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The food here is consistently phenomenal and definitely stands out in the neighborhood.
That said, it’s worth noting that prices are on the higher side for casual Trinidadian fare, and service can sometimes be a bit slow, so be prepared to wait. Still, once the food hits the table, it’s well worth it—the flavors more than make up for it.
Overall, Jen’s is a spot I’ll keep coming back to when I want some of the best roti and doubles in Brooklyn.

Employees thay r busy talking with each other’s
Went there for the 1st time. Not knowing what ibwas getting. Server was rude and disrespectful. Server must always be mindful that the customer is always right.. I was ordering one item at a time and she stated next time give me everything all at once..

I love this restaurant. It’s one of the few places I would order from for West Indian cuisine. The food is always fresh and tasty. I love their macaroni pie and salad. I typically get a aloo pie or doubles with tambourine sauce. They recently fell off with their sides such as macaroni salad. I ordered twice just to see if it were a mistake but they charged me the original full price with a sample size you literally can swallow. Make sure you order early because they often run out of things. On the bright side, when they do run out of items they will communicate with you and work with you to make substitutions.

Ok here is the breakdown:
Pros:
tasty roti ($10.00 Feb 2023 price).
Cons:
Rude & unfriendly arrogant staff.
They were all out of potatoes for roti and suggested to fill it with chicken and sauce.
Refused to give more than 2 tiny thin napkins. No restroom for customers.
No ordering for pickup. No ordering in advance. Staff loudly arguing between themselves around customers. Customers cut in front of me in line.
Would I suggest this place? I don’t think so.
Not unless the owner trains the staff in good customer service.

They don’t give a shit about delivery driver for pickup you have to wait up to 30 minutes
Just bought this food there the barbecue chicken is a day old and hard. Very disgusting. I would never ever go back to this place and buy food again. They should be a shame of their self to call themselves Caribbean
