I work in the area and had heard good things about Jessi’s but I honestly don’t carry cash around much. Today I had cash and walked in to get a coffee before work. I saw their specials included an Iced horchata latte and it sounded delicious so i tried it. WOW! Delicious, fantastic, amazing, exhilarating! Forgot to take a picture of it because i was so excited to try it. They also have a lot of breakfast items and treats to choose from. Definitely gave me a reason to carry cash and come back.

The food and coffee are solid and the baristas are polite but I’ve recognized after a several times going back that I’m the only person they make pay up front. I see everyone else receive their order THEN pay. Never the case with me. Only one difference between me and the others that I can discern. Unfortunate, but I won’t be going back if I’m in a different class of customer.

My usual order for breakfast is a Jessie’s Burrito (egg, beans, potatoes, Oaxaca cheese…I get turkey sausage but it originally comes with chorizo) and an almond milk Chai Tea Latte. Super tasty and the perfect amount of fuel for my morning!

But even without the service, they make the BEST breakfast burrito and smoothies. Everything is super fresh, hot, great portion and just delicious.
