Her and Darren were incredible to work with throughout the whole process, partnering with our other vendors to make our vision come to life. On our wedding day, Jill’s entire staff was a dream – so friendly and accommodating to all of our guests, making sure everyone was happy and full 😊 We’re still getting rave reviews from our guests not only about the food, but also about how kind the staff was. Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding, we were in constant communication with Chef Jill and Darren about the menu, rentals, and general timeline coordination. They were super helpful and kind throughout the entire process, and worked directly with the manager of our wedding venue.
Ally and Molly from the day of coordination team were instrumental in helping us set up a day of timeline that kept things organized across all vendors. They provided a lot of suggestions based on their experience, while also listening closely to the type of day we wanted to have. Molly handled all of the setup, cleanup, and coordination across 2 separate ceremony and reception locations on the day of the wedding, so that we didn't have to worry about a thing! The reception was decorated exactly how we envisioned it, and the entire day ran smoothly. She was extremely helpful, organized, and positive throughout the entire day.
The catering service at the reception was wonderful. Chef Jill's servers were extremely professional and accommodated all 120 of our guests throughout cocktail hour and a buffet style dinner. Our guests raved to us about the servers, who made sure that they reached everyone during cocktail hour and assisted those who had dietary restrictions. Everyone absolutely loved the food. During dinner, guests got up for seconds at the buffet, because the food was that great. Guests have continued to tell us how delicious everything was for months after the wedding.
Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but the Jillicious team really made the whole process easy so that we could enjoy the day (and incredible food) with our family and friends. It's extremely clear that Chef Jill and her team take an immense amount of pride in their work down to every detail, and truly care about their clients. We came to Jill with the idea of having carnival-themed food, and from the get go she was supportive and excited. She listened to our thoughts and ideas, and she was more than happy to do what she could to make our vision come to life! She even made sure that the serving trays had little decorations that fit with our 1920s dark carnival theme. From food selection to specialty cocktails to making sure we ordered everything (table cloths, water containers, serving platters, chairs, etc.), Jill and Darren (her right-hand man) went above and beyond in every way. On the big day, her staff was professional and efficient, and the food was incredible. We are so happy we went with Jill, and you will be, too!
Chef Jill helped us create a full vegetarian menu that was expansive and more than just a 'cauliflower steak' (which seems to be the go-to for many vegetarian wedding menus). Each menu item was creative and made with great consideration. We had so much variety for our guests during cocktail hour and the reception. Also, it was all very delicious. People are still telling us (4 months post wedding) how much they liked the food and that it was the best wedding dinner they've ever had. We knew Chef was going to be great when we had our tasting with her a year prior to our wedding. Her team was also very lovely and easy to work with. They went the extra mile when it came to making sure we felt prepared for the big day. But also on the day, they made sure we were fed, happy and not rushed or stressed in any way. We started searching for wedding caterers that would work with us to customize the perfect menu for our wedding day. Jillicious did not disappoint! We worked with Chef Jill to put together the most delicious menu of both apps and main courses. Everyone we spoke to after the wedding couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. It honestly rivaled many of our favorite restaurants in NYC. In addition to the food, Chef Jill and her staff were amazing. They were so responsive throughout the whole wedding process and offered so many great recommendations. On the wedding day, the staff were very helpful with getting the rentals in order, setting up the tables, etc. We also had some guests thank us for how allergy conscious the wedding and staff were. Two were buffett without staff and the most recent was an intimate sit down dinner to celebrate a milestone. It was a wonderful event from the grazing boards and passed hor d'oeuvres through the family style dinner and dessert. Jill prepares excellent food with beautiful displays. The staff is helpful, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and everyone was comfortable. I loved working with her to create a table setting that was unique and special for the occasion. Jill easily adapted the menu (several times) to adjust for dietary issues without hesitation.
