Comfy little 3rd place. Paninis really hit the spot and I'll have a mocha frappe from there even in the middle of a snow

The place is very clean. And the style is amazing. Idk why I didn’t come here earlier, my church temple of refuge is down the block from the there. The sheff Ervin killed it in the kitchen with my order. The food came out exactly how I ordered and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I'm a grad student and have been looking for a place to sit and study/work remotely that's close to home- this place is definitely it for me! It's SO cute inside, the wifi is solid, the food is *chef's kiss*, and best of all the service is crazy good in ways you don't see in a lot of places in NYC these days. Come here if you want to feel special. Also really tangential but the music they play is so good???? I need the playlist stat thanks :)

Jilly’s has hands down the best, most kind customer service. They are so thorough when taking your order to make sure you get exactly what you want. Not to mention that the food and coffee is extremely delicious! Look at this breakfast sandwich with arugula- I can’t stand a dry, bland egg sandwich and this is delicious. The place is also always very clean and peaceful to be in.

Decent clean little local shop. Only con about this place is they charge $15 to sit & do work. Most of these wifi cafes do not. I did find some local places that don’t charge. It’s a shame because many times I have gone in to grab coffee or food and the tables are almost always empty. I can see if they were concerned about taking up table space like in a restaurant or diner but this shop mostly serves on the go patrons. I guess they are doing well enough not to attract the business of students and/or business professionals who are just looking for a quiet spot to do work and have some coffee &/or lunch.

This coffee shop engages in switch and bait which is illegal. This was my third time going to this coffee shop where I’m told the price posted is different than their actual price. Today I told them nicely they cannot change their price depending on the patron/ customer. Rather than correcting their error the family including mother/ daughter went on a rampage. Mother says prices are subject to change daily. Daughter says the prices on the printed menu is correct but, not the ones posted on the board which was a lie. Son said, the sizes changed that’s the reason for the price variation . Switch and bait is illegal in Nyc. I believe their prices are based on the color of person frequenting. I paid for the merchandise but, because of all the back and forth did not trust them and lined up throwing the food away. The mother also said racism is an illusion created by people of color. They need a lesson history and customer service.
Food tasted fresh and Delicious! Feel good music on, the lady was very kind and caring about my needs and the cook was very nice too. I will def come back!
Great coffee super clean environment and Steven the owner is always a pleasure to talk to.
Soooooo much money!!! The sandwich is good! But I mean 17 for a frozen piece of chicken breast and so thin! Rip off!
Was excited to visit and try out their Açai bowls and spend a couple hours studying. Explained to the server that I’ll first order a coffee then an açai bowl after. Was rudely told that I HAVE to spend $15 to stay at their establishment. While this was not an issue at all. I left the establishment because I did not feel welcomed. Thanks to that server for making a visitor to NYC and your cafe feel unwelcome. I’ll be sure to spread the word to my friends from around the world.
