So sad to learn that it's closing. I only got to visit it twice across two yrs because I'm not usually in this neighborhood, but it was no doubt to me that they had the best almond croissant in the city. Plus quality was consistent. Croissant pressed but still fresh, with loads of sliced almonds perfectly toasted (unlike those pale soggy five almond slices that many bakeries are trying to sell on a stale croissant for $8). And most importantly no almond extract. Their almond croissants are PURE.

As I'm writing this up, I still taste it in my mouth.

Top notch baked goods. They used to carry more breads but they cut back. Hope it's not a bad sign. What they have is still great.

I go here every morning when I’m visiting Brooklyn. My go to is the Ham and cheese baguette which basically matches what they sell in Paris.

Legit boulangerie. Awesome pan au chocolat. Bit pricy but cheaper than flight to Paris. I'll definitely be back.

I'm leaving this review for the owner to read, and I'm happy to take it down if they respond. The food is incredible, but I'm leaving this negative review for the service.

The individual who is working up at the front immediately made us feel unwelcome when we entered.
When I asked if the egg croissant sandwich could be heated the individual made a scowl and made me feel like I was asking for a favor.

I strongly advise the owner of the bakery to address the individuals behavior because my wife and I felt very unwelcome.

This place has phenomenal. Madeleine’s probably some of the best I’ve ever had. I actually came back two days in a row to get them when they first opened because they sell out so fast. I really enjoy the vanilla the most second by I believe it was an orange citrus flavored. However, the strawberry ones had strawberry filling inside, which I did not care for. I think Madeleine shouldn’t have a fruit filling inside of them. Other than that, I will definitely be back when I’m in town and the staff was also courteous and friendly. Sadly, I don’t have any pictures because I demolish them every time I bought them

We had the Lemon Meringue Tart which was really good but keep in mind if you’re not a lemon person this wouldn’t be for you the flavor is strong, the meringue was delicious & we had the Blood Orange Twist which it was amazing you need to keep this on the menu forever! The place is cute & very small. There is no seating. Also, they won 2nd place of the Best Croissant Competition in NY, People’s Choice & Best Original Creation. The staff are friendly & helpful! I’ll come back to try other pastries because everything looks really good!

The last time I left a review for ANYTHING was years ago….that being said I literally just tossed and turned in bed enjoying the citrus madeleine! It felt so French…am I Proust now?? And the girl at the counter was absolutely lovely. But seriously I’m shocked that I had such an amazing experience enjoying that madeleine.

Pastry was good, but not memorable. So not memorable that I can't remember what we had!
Almost 10 dollars for a pastry is a bit much.
Service was good though.
