So sad to learn that it's closing. I only got to visit it twice across two yrs because I'm not usually in this neighborhood, but it was no doubt to me that they had the best almond croissant in the city. Plus quality was consistent. Croissant pressed but still fresh, with loads of sliced almonds perfectly toasted (unlike those pale soggy five almond slices that many bakeries are trying to sell on a stale croissant for $8). I'm leaving this review for the owner to read, and I'm happy to take it down if they respond. The food is incredible, but I'm leaving this negative review for the service.

The individual who is working up at the front immediately made us feel unwelcome when we entered.
When I asked if the egg croissant sandwich could be heated the individual made a scowl and made me feel like I was asking for a favor.

This place has phenomenal. Madeleine’s probably some of the best I’ve ever had. I actually came back two days in a row to get them when they first opened because they sell out so fast. I really enjoy the vanilla the most second by I believe it was an orange citrus flavored. However, the strawberry ones had strawberry filling inside, which I did not care for. I think Madeleine shouldn’t have a fruit filling inside of them. Other than that, I will definitely be back when I’m...
