My late mother & I used to come here once a week, after we finished shopping & or her doctors appointments. The food & desserts used to be delicious. It's just not the same anymore. I came with my son & daughter in law. She ordered a steak, & mashed potatoes with gravy. She said the gravy was very salty. She didn't like tge steak. She threw it in the trash. This makes me sad, because Juniors used to be the go to place for cheesecake & pastrami....

What a wonderful institution this juniors has been around a long time .I remember graduating from a city job in the nearby area in 2000 and eating there for the first time. Being from the bronx I only heard about juniors and particularly the cheesecake but then I experienced the real deal. Since then I have become a brooklnite and have been to juniors more than a few times .and always had a good experience . Not a easy thing because in my opinion customer service has suffered...

Slow service makes this place difficult to love. Decent quality food in a classic American diner. Reasonable prices.
But I find myself routinely with an empty coffee cup or water glass, or waiting around for something like the hot sauce I asked for more than once. It’s not unusual to go 30 mins without seeing the waiter.
