I was in the neighborhood for a meeting at the New Lots Library and found this place. I love this little place. There is no table or seating BUT the food is the draw! At least my goat curry is because I'll be going back, traveling from outside the borough to come to this place and get some more -- it's THAT GOOD! Plus, the people are friendly, the woman who served me, the other folks coming in to order. I'm definitely going back. Now, I'll attend every meeting at BPL, just so I can order food to bring back home. THANK YOU CHEFS!!!!

Beware, the food is not always fresh. I had brown stew chicken and it seems to me they used old fried chicken and saturated it in the brown gravy.

This food is no nasty I swear I had it up to here with them…….i have lived in this neighborhood for years and the food gets worst each time…..it’s sad having to buy food and then throw it away because the quality is so poor……I ate 2 spoons of food and I started throwing up………I don’t know how they stay in business but they need to stop serving this dog food…..never again will I let myself be this hungry to even think about buying from these people again.

The Nastiest Jamaican food I have ever tasted in my life. No flavor at all Curry goat taste like boiled goat with curry on top. Please dont spend your money on this 16 bucks in the garbage.
I know nothing about this place... Some how they have charged me for something from my card and I have never even been inside here. I wonder why would they charge me and for what ? Push comes to shove I found out that they had some issues with there machine I let them keep the charge no big deal ??. I'll be back soon one these days check this place out thank you

Went there today. Had sweet and sour chicken which was day bomb. Also had some escovitch fish and some j*** chicken. Food is really good. I would recommend this place.Update:Revisited this restaurant yesterday, the food is still amazing ?. I ordered jerseys chicken, it is so tender and well seasoned. I had the sweet chillies chicken ?, awskme flavor and a good crispy texture. Also ordered some hard dough bread and there exotic carrot, pine and ginger drink ? its amazingly refreshing especially after a hard day of work. Bought curry goat as well, nice and tender meat. I will return and recommend this place for island food. Its reaalllyy good. Take my word.
