The woman at the front desk (think she’s one of the owners) can be a bit rude and judgmental but the guy who makes the pilaf is rly sweet and the rest of the staff is also nice! The huge pan of pilaf def draws you in; gives it a fresh feeling. More places should have their pilaf out. It def has a powerful psychological effect on me haha. The pilaf is good but doesn’t justify the price (it’s by lb). I’ve had better pilaf for half the price in my old neighborhood. Nonetheless,...
Been here few times for coffee & pastries but first time here for the new addition to side street. Newly added outdoor kebab grilling & dishes. I love this tranquil setting with the aroma of a coal fired grill. Feels down to earth and chill. The honey cake was layered nicely with a sweet texture. Just ate 30 minutes prior so did not get a chance to sample the kabobs. But will definitely give it a try on next visit. Note: the 22 oz Sapporo beer can is $15. 10% service charge...
We stopped in last night, and just wanted to compliment your crew. #1 great, patient service as we were picking a lot of things to try. #2 "Shouldve been #1 to me". Manti, Samsa, Peroshki we're 10/10 delicious. This was the best Central Asian food I've ever had in America PERIOD(authentic). We live in Chicago so we see lots of people TRY and execute this type of food. All of it was incredible, best food I've tasted since I left my wifes place in Kazakhstan....
